Sturbridge RV Resort (formerly Sturbridge Outdoor World Campground), Sturbridge, Massachusetts

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

Park is as everyone said is very tight if your rig is over 30 feet long. However we did manage to get our 38 foot fifth wheel into one of their sites. Sites are tight and not much space, however campground is beautiful and our kids loved the week we spent their. Club house is very nice and has a great feel about it. Indoor pool and a country store. Would I go there in the middle of peak season? No, but in the off season like October I think it is worth taking our size rig to this park. We camped at Sturbridge RV Resort (formerly Sturbridge Outdoor World Campground) in a Fifth Wheel.

Gateway to Cape Cod Campground, Rochester, Massachusetts

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

Nice Park as others have said the surface is dirt but plenty of shade cover. All sites are full hook ups and have 50 amp service. WIFI with Verizon was average but you can get by with it. Road into park as stated is part gravel and was very bad, pot holes everywhere and rough. Park is central to allot to be done in thew area from day trips to Boston or out to the cape. Also we did day trips into Rhode Island from this location. Apart from the road we enjoyed our two weeks there and will go back in the future. We camped at Gateway to Cape Cod Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tall Pines Campground, Canoeing & Country Store, Bainbridge, New York

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Park is in a very nice area on the edge of a river. Grounds are well taken care of and look nice, nice play area for kids to play and area they can run around on. Small pool and very cold. Sites are only 30 amp plugs and electric is very old so does not give you the full 30 amps. This park is not big rig friendly at all. We were on a super site as it was called and was very very hard to get into with a 38 foot fifth wheel. Sites are not wide either and you are on top of your neighbor. Suppose to be a grill in each site but most super sites seem to be missing these. We got a down pour of rain for 20 minutes on our 3rd of 7 nights there and out super site turned into a super mud heap for the rest of the week. They charge for everything from taking a shower to even having to pay to play mini golf. Their art and crafts they put on for the kids but they are not cheap either. They do cook and offer food at the camp ground but we saw complaints of it being under cooked and way too expensive for what you got. We will not be returning to this campground any time soon and if your rig is more than 35 foot long and your not made of money I would advise not going to this campground. We camped at Tall Pines Campground, Canoeing & Country Store in a Fifth Wheel.

Thousand Trails Lynchburg, Gladys, Virginia

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

Nice rural park as others have said. Nearly all full hook up sites and all sites are 30 amps only. Sites have gravel and near all look level, plus nearly every site has good shade cover. Nice big pond and walking trails around the pond, all if so wish you can drive around. Plenty of activities over the weekends we were here. Only small problem we had is the ranger seemed to know less than we did when we checked in, and this was our first time at this park. We camped at Thousand Trails Lynchburg in a Fifth Wheel.

Green Mountain Park Resort, Lenoir, North Carolina

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed three weeks, this is a very nice RV park. Has wooden patio at most sites and near all sites are cement pads to park on. Plenty of shade in the lower section so when the temps are in the 90s it is still nice outside by the trailer. Plenty of park activities offered and a nice little pool along with a water feature for kids to play under. Roads are in fairly good condition through out the park. Verizon data signal is 4G but does struggle on some parts of the day, but is good for surfing and most of the time for streaming movies. Verizon cell is only one bar and struggles. Over all a very nice park and if back in the area we will be sure to come back here. We camped at Green Mountain Park Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Thousand Trails / Carolina Landing, Fair Play, South Carolina

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

Like others have said park is on a hill, but it is really not that hard to get level if you take your time. We stayed here for two weeks over the Memorial Day weekend and found the park very nice with good staff and management. Nice pool and plenty of activities to do in the park. Verizon cellular voice and data were both excellent. roads are narrow but you can make it work and if in the area again we will enjoy coming back to this park. We camped at Thousand Trails / Carolina Landing in a Fifth Wheel.
