Nice park, everything worked as advertised. Grass site by the river was W/E only but they do have a pump-out service. Pump out service twice a week. I think it was $13. Site was grass, level, and huge! Campground was very full with several groups arranging their rv's to set up party areas. I loved it and made some new friends but others may like a little more privacy and quiet. Once the weekend was over things really calmed down. One warning: the bridge over the creek scared most of us with large motorhomes. There are no signs about weight rating and I almost wasn't going to cross it. I spoke to two other families in large class A's and they said the same thing. Would help if there was at the bridge advising about weight rating. Nice store, pool, and mini-golf.

I rarely give out 10 ratings, but I love this place! I'm in a pull-in site at the front of the park which gives me a panoramic view of the area. The hosts and other campers are very friendly and they even had a very good band here Saturday night. The pool is clean and they have a disc golf course which I haven't tried yet. Wifi and all utilities work great. Site was slightly unlevel but easily within capability of jacks. After spending the last two weeks in parks with level sites and heavy rain I have no problem with a slight incline to allow drainage...better than sitting in a lake!

Great location for visiting DC. Price was very fair for the level of service provided. The free overview of the city and metro was excellent. All facilities were in great shape and the hot tub and sauna were wonderful after a long day of touring the city. Site was tight so if I visit again I would probably pop for the premium site to give the dog a bigger yard.

A tale of two parks. If you get a 50 amp spot next to the highway the road noise is unbearable! We had a 10 day stay but weren't going to stay if we couldn't move. The camp hosts were outstanding! It took some work but they got us a spot away from the highway and what a difference. It was 30 amp but that's okay with us. Nice level spots, walking trails, and friendly people. If you must sit by the highway bring your earplugs!!! Avoid spots 76/78/80/82/84/86/88. Big rigs all night and jake brake noise; the highway is directly behind the rigs and you'll actually feel vibrations. Shellcracker Circle side is much farther from the highway and as long as you can handle 30 amp you'll be much happier.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The park managers were wonderful and we made many friends during our stay. The sites are level and all services work well; the only knock is they are tightly spaced but that's normal for the area. The pool and facilities were all clean and in good repair.

C.B. Smith Park

Fabulous park! Our spot backed to the lake and we loved everything about it. Level concrete, 50 amp, strong wifi, plus a beautiful park view. If you are visiting the Miami area you should strongly consider this park.

This review is for area C of the campground; I would have rated area A and B much higher. Area C is tightly packed and you need very long sewer hoses to connect. Everything worked and the wifi was good, but the ambience was bad. Many of the campers had multiple vehicles parked everywhere and there were a lot of people living in tents. One night the police were called to break up a disturbance...not fun. The park itself is great, just make sure you book either A or B loop.

We stayed two weeks and thoroughly enjoyed the park. The location is excellent for touring Savannah, Georgia and surrounding area. Campground is very quiet and safe. The hosts work hard to keep the place clean and quiet.

Stayed 6 days in pull-through site. Everything worked but internet was spotty. Tights are fairly tight but they are level. Location is great for touring the area.

Nice park on the Avenue of the Giants. We chose this park because a previous reviewer mentioned it wasn't actually in the trees and we wanted our satellite tv. Very clean. Sites are close but the pull-through was long and paved. Decent internet. No cell reception without a booster but they do have a repeater in the park where you can sit under a cover and connect. Grass was dead and doesn't appear to be watered in the summer, so if you have a dog expect to brush them a lot. No picnic table but a plastic table is provided so bring your chairs.

Nice park close to the Oregon Caves and Brookings Oregon. We stayed for a week and had a pleasant experience. The outer sites are back-in and most were in use by full-timers or people on extended stays of several months. Our pull-through site was easy in and out and everything worked great. The water connection is at the front of the site so you need a long hose. Sites are tight but they have grass and a nice picnic table area. Wi-fi was spotty and there was no cell phone reception without a booster. No pool but there is a small creek with a beach area where you can get wet. Extremely clean and well kept park. The only real down-side was road noise. There was a road next to the park and it seemed like many of the trucks had worn out mufflers.

We stayed here for two weeks using our RPI membership. Sites are dirt/gravel and ours wasn't level, but we were able to get there with our jacks. Initially the power at our site didn't work but the technician quickly replaced the plug. Grass at the sites is very weedy and rough but they won't allow you to put rugs down...a little landscaping work would really help. Clubhouse is nice and everything we used was clean and in working condition. We would stay here again.

Idyl Acres

Bonners Ferry, Idaho

We stayed here for three nights on our way to Banff, Canada, and absolutely loved it! The owners are very proud of their park and they keep it very clean. The spot was level and everything worked great. No Internet but that was to be expected. The only reason I didn't give it a 10 is because we couldn't get a satellite signal and we could see that in the past there was a dish set up in an open area. It would be great if the would add a connection so visitors could use it.
