Dick's RV Park, Great Falls, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

I don't remember if we got a discount, but did get a weekly rate. Large RV park, gravel roads & sites. There are some year-round campers in the place, but it's not bad. We camped at Dick's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Beaver Lake Campground, Custer, South Dakota

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

A little tight on some of the the turns, but a beautiful RV park with lots of trees and resident rabbits. We were early in the season, and the staff was helpful in suggesting places to go during our week stay. We camped at Beaver Lake Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Custer State Park & Wind Cave National Park are adjacent to one another and beautiful. We really enjoyed the Crazy Horse Memorial & Museum and also visited Mount Rushmore. For dinosaur lovers, The Mammoth Site in nearby Hot Springs is a must see, as it is an active dig and fascinating.

Cody Wyoming Trout Ranch, Cody, Wyoming

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Narrow roads and sites, although their website describes them as roomy. There were few people in the park when we were there so we were able to drive through the site in front of us to exit. But if the park were full, I think getting in and out of sites would be stressful. It's in a beautiful location, but no shade as trees not yet grown. Creek and fishing pond on site. We were there a week and had mail sent; mine was opened accidentally. We camped at Cody Wyoming Trout Ranch in a Fifth Wheel.

Outback Montana RV Park and Campground, Bigfork, Montana

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We were in a 50 amp pull-through, the most expensive site they offer. The park is hilly and sites are terraced. We didn't have any trouble getting in and out, and there is a loop to drive around when you are leaving. There are a lot of trees, offering privacy, and a small store in the park. We camped at Outback Montana RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Johnson Creek RV Resort & Park, Kerrville, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2017 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park situated in a pecan orchard, lots of dear. Many winter Texans return every year. This was our first time there and we stayed a month at $425 plus electricity. Family of 4 came to stay a week in a cabin - they an out of hot water after one shower. Shower facility was not clean, and when reported, excuses were made. Owners seem very focused on their status as award winning RV park, and encourage guests to like them on Facebook. We were not impressed with customer service. We camped at Johnson Creek RV Resort & Park in a Fifth Wheel.

You're out in the country, near Sanger, TX and Babe's Restaurant. In Pilot Point, Buff's Burgers is good, or Ernesto's Mexican Food.

Riverbend Resort, South Fork, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed for a month, and found both the owners and camp hosts to be both friendly and helpful. The owners know the area and can point you the best hiking, fishing, ATV trails...whatever your interest is. Sites are level (not paved) and having just bought the park a couple of years ago, the owners are continuing to improve on the facility. They actually have a portion of the South Fork running behind the camp so you can fish without ever leaving home! We camped at Riverbend Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

There are so many beautiful places around South Fork! We explored many of the nearby park roads and hiked multiple trails. A day trip to Lake City to drive up Engineer Pass was a motoring adventure not for the faint-hearted; we even got to watch a moose feeding in a roadside pond. Another day trip was the headwaters of the Rio Grande; beautiful scenery and reservoirs. I feel we were fortunate to have a month in this area.
