Blue Spruce RV Park

Grants, New Mexico

Date of Stay:

This park is best for an overnight stay as the price is right and it's close to the freeway. When you first pull in you may think OMG, however we had no issue getting our 39' fiver parked. As previously mentioned, the sites are close. They do offer cable TV which we didn't try as there was no cable connection next to our site. It appears the connections are at every other site and I didn't want to have to route a cable underneath the fiver just to get it for one night. Used the facilities once and found them to be very clean. No issues with water pressure or 50 amp electric ($2 more).

Date of Stay:

Very well kept park that has easy freeway access and nearby gas stations. The staff was extremely friendly. It was nice after a long drive to be able to have a BBQ dinner without leaving. Due to its proximity to the freeway and airport, I'm not sure I'd spend a week here, but it was a good choice for one night.

Date of Stay:

We were fortunate to get a spot that backs up to the mountain so we didn’t have anyone camped behind us. While we really enjoyed the site, we were unable to use the fire pit as we felt it was too close to the trailer. Voltage to the site always maintained an acceptable level. We used the satellite TV rental option which worked very well. We never had an issue connecting to Wi-Fi. The on site facilities (e.g. store, laundry, bathrooms) were very well maintained. Being tucked away on a dead end country road kept the traffic down and made for an enjoyable bicycle ride. We drove around the lake to check out our other camping options, and after doing so we knew we made the right decision.
