Blue Spruce RV Park & Cabins, Bayfield, Colorado

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We had a major sewage leak inside our rented motorhome. We called two days prior to our reservation date and asked to cancel due to the sewage inside our motorhome. Blue Spruce campground said no and was not concerned about our problem. This was off season so I am sure they did not rent our site. A letter sent to them with the documentation from the RV dealer about the sewage was ignored. We camped at Blue Spruce RV Park & Cabins in a Motorhome.

Lake Haven Retreat, Indianapolis, Indiana

Date of Stay: May, 2007 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Very poor park. Cable was full of snow. Went to office and asked for a partial refund or have someone repair it. Response was they will call cable company but it takes two days. They said they had trouble with it two weeks ago but their maintanence man fixed it. Why could they not at least attempt to fix it? Most parks send a guy out with a TV to at least try. They refused my request for a refund on a cable. Park roads were very dusty and full of large holes. Trash and construction materials laying all over. Very unsightly. Wifi worked very poorly. This place is a dump. We camped at Lake Haven Retreat in a Travel Trailer.

Falls Lake SRA / Rolling View Campground, Wake Forest, North Carolina

Date of Stay: May, 2007 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

$20 is regular price but we had a senior discount. Rolling View has a number of sites where you can use your satellite dish. Holly Point does not. All sites are very rustic. Security was excellent. We saw the ranger about 10 times a day. The ranger carried a 9mm pistol which we welcomed. We also saw the Sheriff on occasion. We felt very safe even though the sites are remote. Restrooms were not very clean. We camped at Falls Lake SRA / Rolling View Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Riverside Campground & Resort, Sevierville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: May, 2007 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

If you do not use your RV bathroom, make sure you get a site near the bath house. It is nearly 1/2 mile from one end of the campground. Cable system is poor. Wi-fi did not work well and was $6 a night. Owners know nothing about the wi-fi. I asked to be camped near the wi-fi antennas and they did not know where they were. Park was clean, sites were level with fresh crushed stone. Grass was very well cared for. We camped at Riverside Campground & Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort & Marina, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina

Date of Stay: April, 2007 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park. Well landscaped sites. Beautiful grounds. Owners very friendly and helpful. If you have pets, watch for burrs in grass. Best place to relieve pets is by swing next to office which is where owners take their dog. Wi-fi works excellent in front portion of park. We were 800 feet away from tower and received at 4000 Kbps! Highly recommended. We cannot wait to return. We camped at Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort & Marina in a Travel Trailer.

Beverly Beach RV Camptown RV Resort, Flagler Beach, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2007 - $90.00
Overall Rating:

The only thing that saves this park is the ocean. No water pressure often. Bathrooms just okay. Big problem with wi-fi at your site. Some days it works, some not. We were there one month and it worked well for about 7 days. Owners did not seem to care. Wi-fi works well inside the office. Were it not for the lack of caring from management about the wi-fi I would rate the park a 7 and the view a 10. We camped at Beverly Beach RV Camptown RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
