Sandcreek RV Park and Campground, Torrey, Utah

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

I value service above all when staying at a park. The good folks at Sand Creek where very accommodating, personable and friendly. We roll at 70' so we barely squeezed around the park and into our spot with the gracious help of the park owner. The best part about Sandcreek is it's close proximity to the main part of town which is within walking and cycling distance. We camped at Sandcreek RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Red Mountain Motel, RV Park & Cabins, Silverton, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

The owners of Red Mountain RV are the best! There are many choices for an RV park in this beautiful area and Red Mountain is our home in Silverton. We stay in this park every Fourth of July and the Lockey's go out of their way to make us feel like family. We camped at Red Mountain Motel, RV Park & Cabins in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The list is very long. The San Juan Mountains are incredibly beautiful and full of history. The off-road and jeep roads are challenging yet beautiful. Silverton itself is one of the last small, Colorado mountain towns that has not suffered the onset of the faux, gentrified elites. Silverton remain genuine in all aspects. Enjoy the scenery, the stores, the restaurants and especially the people of Silverton. Like me, you will return every year.

The Canyon Motel & RV Park, Williams, Arizona

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Good for big rigs. Wonderful girls in the office but the park owner should stay in the shadows. I had just unloaded my towed and this individual cut me off and blocked me in his Golf Kart and lambasted me for going the wrong way on his "all one way" roads and, for not having my official date placard taped to my windshield. I also felt like I was being treated like a child by the biggest collection of guidance signs that start with the word "no" in this park than I have ever seen anywhere in my life.

We will stay elsewhere at this favorite midway stop for us. We camped at The Canyon Motel & RV Park in a Motorhome.
