Davis Bayou Campground, Ocean Springs, Mississippi

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $11.00
Overall Rating:

Excellent, well maintained facilities. The showers were the best I have seen, anywhere. Large, clean, private, with great pressure and temperature. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The visitors center was very informative, and the nature trails appeared to be well maintained. Enjoyed watching the big alligator, birds and turtles. Like most National Parks, there isn't a sewer connection, and you can't discharge the grey water on the grass, but the dump site is convenient, and easily accessed. Our site (44) was level, and easy to back into. It could have been a little wider, to accommodate a door mat, but it worked OK. The nightly fee of $11.00 is with the Golden Age Passport. We will definitely be back. We camped at Davis Bayou Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Lee's Travel Park, Largo, Florida

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed here several times, over the years...usually during the off season, so the rates are less, and the park isn't crowded. This rate is the off season, monthly rate. The staff have always been very friendly, and accommodating. The recreation room, pool, laundry facilities, showers and bathrooms have always been clean, well maintained, and in excellent condition. All the sites we have used had picnic tables, concrete patios, and were level. The sites are fairly close together, but not so close as to be a problem. There is a large no smoking section, which is nice. We will be back. We camped at Lee's Travel Park in a Fifth Wheel.
