Twin Falls 93 RV Park, Filer, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Easy park to get in and out of. Lot of construction going on as they're expanding the park for more big rig spaces. We stayed for a week and would stay here on our next visit. We camped at Twin Falls 93 RV Park in a Motorhome.

The Meadows RV Park, Ketchum, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We didn't have any trouble maneuvering through this park but the spaces are tight, tight, tight!. One of those places you pull in opposite your neighbors and share the pole for electrical hookups. Individual boxes but on the same pole. You get the picture, tight! But, it's the only game in town. We shared a picnic table with out neighbors though many sites had two, they were just in-between as the passenger side of our MH faced the passenger side of our neighbor. Wifi was adequate. Verizon signal was good. Beautiful area. We camped at The Meadows RV Park in a Motorhome.

Casper KOA, Bar Nunn, Wyoming

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here two nights while passing through Casper. Good place to stop. All gravel but easy in and out. ENTRANCE IS ON SUNSET BLVD. My GPS took us to Prairie Ln and you can't usually enter the park from there. Once we broke the code on that it was an easy on and off I25. Very clean, quiet...good stop. Bar Nunn is built on an old airport. It's worth the walk over to the Hangar which is right across the street. Aviation motif with full bar and food. Good Verizon, wifi was ok. Beautiful Indoor pool. We will stay here on our next pass through. Took a drive to the other two parks and would definitely use this one. We camped at Casper KOA in a Motorhome.

Highline Trail RV Park, Boulder, Wyoming

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed for a week in June. Nice park. Easy to get around in. Big gravel sites. They tell you when you check in that it's windy in the area and they aren't kidding! WiFi no worky the whole time we were there. We were told they'd had a lightening strike. Verizon MiFi signal was good. Good place to stay and we would use it again if we were back in the area. We camped at Highline Trail RV Park in a Motorhome.

7th Ranch RV Camp, Garryowen, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We just stopped through for one night. Good park. We were in a pull through all the way at the top of the park which was very nice. Park had everything we needed for one night without unhooking. Satellite hooked up no problem. Good Verizon signal. Folks running the place were very nice and even had ice cream on check in! Will stop again. We camped at 7th Ranch RV Camp in a Motorhome.

Rocky Mountain RV Park, Gardiner, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Great park and the closest one to the northern entrance to Yellowstone. New owners as of December 2016 and they're doing good things. Very friendly staff on check in and we followed the golf cart to our pull in/back out site on top of the hill. No problem getting into the gravel space. Nice and level. Sewer had the small pipe. WiFi was free and screaming. Satellite hooked up no problem and good Verizon signal. View was simply stunning from the deluxe spots. Easy trip into the park. Only about 5 miles to Mammoth Springs. Good place to base out of if spending time in the Lamar Valley. We will most definitely return often. We camped at Rocky Mountain RV Park in a Motorhome.

Countryside RV Park, LLC, Dillon, Montana

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Great park. Easy to get to from I-15. Views are pretty stunning from most spots. We liked the fact there was a lot of space between sites. Good walkability for our dogs. Wifi was screaming. Satellite hookup was no problem as entire park is very open. Good Verizon signal. We will definitely stay here again as we pass through. We camped at Countryside RV Park, LLC in a Motorhome.

Deer Creek State Park, MIdway, Utah

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed in Choke Cherry CG. I'd of rated this park a 10 if it had 50amp power available! Great place. No problem maneuvering our 45' MH into site 11. View of the lake was beautiful. We expected to have no water but it had been turned on the night before! Pressure was extremely low (20psi) but could at least fill our tank as required. Good walking but pets only allowed in the campground....they mean it. Great access to Provo Canyon. Good Verizon signal for phone and MIFI. Satellite hookup no problem. We would stay here again. We camped at Deer Creek State Park in a Motorhome.

Kanab RV Corral, Kanab, Utah

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at this park while volunteering at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. Our site was fine.....plenty long enough and easy to back our 45' MH into. New owners are great and lots of work was going on while we were there primarily landscaping. Satellite hooked up no problem. Verizon signal was strong....did not check MIFI because the park WIFI was screaming fast which is always greatly appreciated. Convenient to walking downtown. Pool looks very nice but was still covered. Not a cheap place but very adequate. We camped at Kanab RV Corral in a Motorhome.

29 Palms Golf Resort, Twentynine Palms, California

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed five nights in our 45' MH. No problem with access...paved roads were easy to navigate. No recycling though there are signs to "recycling". Dog park is probably not worthy of it's name. Walking our dogs in and around the park was not a problem. We had a good Verizon signal phone and MIFI. Satellite hooked up no problem from our site. The swimming pool is indoors and beautiful. Workout room had equipment out of service but was fairly nice (if dated) overall. The park is very convenient to Joshua Tree as well as the USMC base. Joshua Tree was the reason we were there.....beautiful park and well worth the trip. We camped at 29 Palms Golf Resort in a Motorhome.

Mission Bay RV Resort, San Diego, California

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed for 31 nights arriving in March and departing second week of April. This park is ok. Mostly asphalt with just enough trees to make backing our 45' MH into spot challenging. A lot of big pickup trucks parked along/partially in the street contributed to that as well. Good Verizon connection phone and MIFI. Wifi was essentially nonexistent during normal hours. Satellite hooked up just fine. There is a former mobile home community surrounding the RV park that has been abandoned. No movement or demolition underway just yet which made walking in the area along the bay simply superb. Inside the park, doggie relief areas consisted of the small squares of dirt around the trees mentioned above or the "Pet Stop" which is too small to be effective. Security for the park is good as well with a guarded entrance and it's completely fenced. Hookups are the smaller threaded pipes for sewer.....water and electrical are toward the back of the spot but no problem to reach. Getting into the park from I5 is no problem. Folks at the desk were excellent. This park offers recycling which is very convenient and appreciated. Good place to stay in the San Diego area. We camped at Mission Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.
