Peter D's RV Park, Sheridan, Wyoming

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Nice, clean little park run by a very nice couple. The park is all pull through so no need to unhook. 30&50 amp power, good water pressure, sewer hookup, and level gravel sites. If you are lucky, when you check in there will be some fresh veggies from their garden available for you to take.. Nice and easy off and back on the highway and no noise from it. We camped at Peter D's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Ceraland Campground, Columbus, Indiana

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Read the article in the FMCA magazine and came here for a tour of the Cummins plant. The article said to call to get a tour reservation but we never received a call back. Upon arrival, we were charged $2 per person to enter the facility! The money taker gave no directions to the office. A very nice gentleman on a golf cart asked us if we were lost and drove the wife to the office. (we had tried calling the office twice but no one answered) Once we found our spot, we went back to find out about the tours and were told that the FMCA magazine got the article wrong because they didn't arrange tours for less than 20 people. Oh well. The facility does look well maintained until you get to the campground. Sites are gravel with weeds growing in them and most of them are un level. It is heavily treed so satellite service won't happen. Power was good, water pressure good. For the price we paid, there were no sewer hookups. Roads are pretty narrow with speed bumps so be careful. Even going the posted 4mph speed limit the bumps shook the coach. We camped at Ceraland Campground in a Motorhome.

Lei-Ti Campground, Batavia, New York

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

Front desk was very friendly and helpful. We got here late in the afternoon so we didn't use any of the facilities. The pull thru gravel site was in front of the lodge and was level. New power poles have good plugs, the best I have seen in any park we have stayed in on this 6,000 mile trip. Water pressure is adequate, the park uses well water and it tastes pretty good.

The park does have seasonal residents but I don't think you will find a park that doesn't in this part of the country.

Lots of activities for the kids and adults. We would stay here again. We camped at Lei-Ti Campground in a Motorhome.

Circle CG Farm Campground, Bellingham, Massachusetts

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Tight squeeze getting in the gate. It was a choice of hitting the gate arm or the bushes, I took the bushes. Two vehicles cannot pass each other because of the narrow road. The interior roads are what I have come to expect in an east coast park, frost heaves, pot holes, etc. Front desk staff wasn't real friendly, just did her job by taking our money and assigning us a site. Got to our site and raised the cover on the power "tree" to find it full of dead bugs. An employee was driving by so I flagged him down and complained and he told me it was because of the caterpillars. Had to share the water spigot with the next door neighbor as our site didn't have its own. We camped at Circle CG Farm Campground in a Motorhome.

Moorings Oceanfront RV Resort, Belfast, Maine

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

Sites are pretty tight, roads are narrow and if someone parks a big vehicle across from your site, you might not get it, Roads are dirt, uneven with a few nice pot holes. The road is one way so you have to drive through the whole park if you are parked in the smaller number spaces. The spaces are not long enough for your tow vehicle and the rv so we had to park next door. We camped at Moorings Oceanfront RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Timberland Acres RV Park, Trenton, Maine

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park. The staff was really helpful and friendly. The sites are large, power good, water pressure good. The interior roads, although paved can give you some surprises with the dips, frost heaves and not marked speed bumps. We camped at Timberland Acres RV Park in a Motorhome.

Keenes Lake Family Campground, Calais, Maine

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Most of the sites are seasonal. The sites for people like us were for the most part to the point that people have to use boards to drive on or place them under the jacks to get level. There is no sewer but they do have a pump out service if needed plus a dump. Water pressure is terrible so we had to use the pump for decent pressure. Our 30 amp electric plug was burned to the point I would not use it so I switched to another connection. Getting to the campground requires travel over a 1/2 mile rocky dirt road which I didn't like. We camped at Keenes Lake Family Campground in a Motorhome.

Wagon Wheel RV Resort, Old Orchard Beach, Maine

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here under Passport America which made it a very good deal considering. The park has a lot of seasonals which we are finding the norm here in Maine. Our site was a level pull thru which was nice but not really needed. The streets are fairly narrow, especially if you are trying to back into a site that has other units parked across the street. Good spacing between sites. There is the usual train but you could barely hear it. In the site we were in, because of the tall pines, satellite was not in the picture but they do have cable. We would stay here again. We camped at Wagon Wheel RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Exeter Elms Family Campground, Exeter, New Hampshire

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

The park is mostly seasonal with a few sites for drive-ups. They advertise Passport America but when we called, they said it was high season. I asked when PA was available and was told the first couple of weeks after they open and a few weeks before they close for the season. Those terms were not spelled out in the PA book.

The interior roads are pot holes held together with some dirt. The speed limit was supposed to be 5MPH but everyone drove much faster which created a continuous dust cloud. Staff was friendly, the park itself was clear of trash. The pool looked like it was being put to good use by all the kids. We camped at Exeter Elms Family Campground in a Motorhome.

Pine Grove RV Park and Campground, Greenwood, Nebraska

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Called about reservations and were told no problem. We arrived and were met by a courteous and friendly staff. It was interesting to note that they have a full bar and dining area!

We were not impressed with the entry road as it is full of pot holes and a speed bump which really isn't needed. Other than that, the sites are level, decently spaced with good power and water, and sewer. We camped at Pine Grove RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.
