Ireland's Ocean View RV Park, Gold Beach, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

The rate reflects a weekly stay. I have mixed feelings about this place. The location is great. We could see the ocean from our rv and its a very short walk to the beach. The wifi is ok depending on how people are staying there. The cable is bad. The closer you are to the beach the less chance you will have cable unless you have an older tube type tv. There is not a strong enough signal for the newer tv's at the bottom of the park. This is because there is only 1 cable running down each row so the people at the top use up all the signal and the people at the bottom get nothing. The bathrooms are very nasty and are never cleaned. Over all this park is very run down. What you are paying for here is location. I will probably stay here again just for the location. Verizon 4g works but Sprint data does not. The laundry was out of order but there is one in town. We camped at Ireland's Ocean View RV Park in a Motorhome.

Orange Grove RV Park, Bakersfield, California

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This is an excellent RV park that we always stay in when passing thru Bakersfield. The only reason I did not give it a 10 was because I've stayed at 1 place that was better. Verizon 4g was good here. Did not try the wifi. Everything is clean and the staff is very friendly. The sites are dirt, but you park in between the orange trees so the pay off is definitely worth it. There is nothing like waking up with the smell of orange trees, then walking out of your RV and picking your own breakfast. Overall great place to stay. We camped at Orange Grove RV Park in a Motorhome.

Vineyard RV Park, Vacaville, California

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

The rate reflects a monthly rate. Verizon 4g and Sprint data has good reception. The staff was decent enough to deal with except for 1 person that was very nasty to everyone that walked into the office. The bathrooms are cleaned once a day but are used a lot, so they don't stay clean for very long. The roads and sites are mainly gravel, so there is a lot of dust. Overall, this is not a great park but it is one of the best options in the area. We camped at Vineyard RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sea Perch RV Resort, Yachats, Oregon

Date of Stay: March, 2016 - $70.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for a week in the winter. The week we stayed, there was only a couple of RVs here so we got a great site. The price is high at this park; you are paying for the view and wow what a view it is. The bathrooms are probably the nicest I have ever seen at a RV park. It's a small park and when its full there is not going to be much room between rigs. There is no cell service here at all. Overall this is a great park at a great location along the Oregon coast. We camped at Sea Perch RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Deerwood RV Park, Eugene, Oregon

Date of Stay: February, 2016 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

The rate reflects a monthly rate. Verizon 4g was good here. The wifi was better then most parks, but had an extra $10 a month fee. The bathrooms are cleaned daily and are very nice. The location of the park was convenient to Eugene and Springfield. There is only 2 things wrong with this park. The 1st that there is only 2 bathrooms, so you have to wait sometimes to take a shower. The 2nd problem is the more serious one. Theft here is very bad. I talked to many long time residents and they said it was a problem. I personally had stuff stolen that was chained up. This place has potential to be great, but until they hire night security they are going to be #2 in Eugene. We camped at Deerwood RV Park in a Motorhome.

San Diego RV Resort, La Mesa, California

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

The rate is based on monthly. There was good reception for Verizon 4g. We did not try the wifi. There is a lot of full time residents that live in the park. The bathrooms are cleaned daily. The laundry was the most expensive of any place we have ever stayed. There is a nice pool and gym at the park. The maintenance does a good at trying to keep the grounds looking nice. At night there is security patrolling the park. One of the nice things about the park is that it is easy to get around San Diego from its location. There is a Tram stop outside the back gate. Over all the park is older, but is a great place to see San Diego from. We camped at San Diego RV Resort in a Motorhome.
