Red Barn RV Park, Tea, South Dakota

Date of Stay: June, 2007 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed here numerous times and will again. A bit tight but I have a 37ft and managed quite well. Close to Sioux Falls and interstate, but very little noise. A few timers there, but a nice campground and owners. We camped at Red Barn RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Heartland RV Park & Cabins, Hermosa, South Dakota

Date of Stay: May, 2007 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

We full time and this park works for us. The monthly rate is 300.00. Free WIFI that works great, pool, hot tub, playground area for kids. It will get more expensive and noisy when the motorcycle rally arrives in Aug. Close to Black Hills attractions & Mt. Rushmore. Also close to Rapid City for shopping. We have stayed here numerous times and plan to stay again. We camped at Heartland RV Park & Cabins in a Fifth Wheel.

One of the better places to spend the night. Level sites, for once while going through Wyo. the wind DID NOT blow. Would spend the night again if I had to. We camped at Western Hills Campground in a Motorhome.

Horspitality RV Resort, Wickenburg, Arizona

Date of Stay: January, 2007 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Nothing there for children, e.g., playground. Water was turned off numerous times, sewer was also disconnected numerous times. 50 amp service is 2 pedestals hooked together, some coaches don't recognize this hook-up. Park electricity spikes quite frequently in the evening. No electric heaters allowed and parts of the park can't use AC when it gets hot. A worker said the park will be closed this summer. They do have WIFI, but weak or non-existant in certain areas of the park. The snow bird residents are nice to get to know if you quad ride or horse ride on the trails out of the park. The restrooms had a foul odor most of the time we were there. 2 toilets for the men, 3 for the ladies and 1 shower apiece. Laundry facilities are minimal and some machines did not work all the time. We camped at Horspitality RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Wylie Park & Storybook Land, Aberdeen, South Dakota

Date of Stay: June, 2006 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

One of the best parks we've found. No wifi, only thing missing and that's not a problem for us. Have stayed here long term, at 4months, and also for a day or two. Really an enjoyable place to stay. Would recommend it to anyone with or with out children. We camped at Wylie Park & Storybook Land in a Fifth Wheel.

Flandreau City Park, Flandreau, South Dakota

Date of Stay: June, 2006 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

An excellent place to stay for a week or what-ever. Only bad thing is you have to move to a dump station when black/grey tanks are full, but no big deal. Indian gaming casino in town, shopping as close as 30 miles, Brookings. We have stayed numerous times, shade from giant cottonwoods, ballgames in the summer, play ground equipment in the park. It's a nice, nice place to stay. We camped at Flandreau City Park in a Fifth Wheel.
