Kibby Creek Travel Park, Ludington, Michigan

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

Park was kept clean. Showers were by far the nicest that I have seen so far in a camp ground. Showers and Bathroom were kept clean never saw anything that I thought needed to be handled. Overall we had a great time and were very happy with the park. We camped at Kibby Creek Travel Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Plenty of things to do for kids. In-ground pool, tractor pull rides, horse shoes, shuffleboard, daily or weekly activities, things seemed to be reasonably priced inside the park store but make sure you have cash as there is a 10 dollar min. for debit which is reasonable for a small store like this. There is a jam place around the corner which sells all different kinds of jams with fruit grown right on the farm. Must try, they were very good.

Rifle River Campground and Canoe Livery, Sterling, Michigan

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $82.00
Overall Rating:

My only real complaint is the price. For a campsite with electrical/water it was $18 a person a night. which for 5 of us, 2 of which was mine and my wife's kids averaged 82 bucks a night, thats not full hook up/ no cable/ no wifi. I will say that the park was clean and staff was very friendly and we did it for the river trip; however, I don't think I could bring myself to pay that to go back again. The river trips are also expensive but is close to what others in the area are charging 40 a canoe and anywhere from 22 to 27 a tube. If you're going to stay and looking for a pull though go with spot 53 or 54 still close to bathroom but tree layout would have been easier to navigate. We camped at Rifle River Campground and Canoe Livery in a Travel Trailer.
