Fort Welikit Family Campground, Custer, South Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Great family campground. Stayed for a week. Had fire rings, fairly level site, nothing a leveling board couldn't fix. Lots of trees, staff was very friendly and helpful. Centrally located to lots of activities. Would stay here again. We camped at Fort Welikit Family Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Lightner Creek Campground, Durango, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We had probably the best site in the park. Shade trees all day. Nice quiet campground. Wifi was typically iffy. No fires which was a bummer. Staff was friendly, but kind of strict about checkout time. We camped at Lightner Creek Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Durango is a few min. away. We went thru Durango and up in the mountains for a lovely drive. Can go rafting on the river that goes thru Durango.
