To start, for the last two hours we have been trying to get the WiFi to work. So, there's that.
Next, it is just a parking lot. Which, I wouldn't mind if it wasn't costing me $96.00 to sleep behind where they have torn down the football field and are now doing work to build something else. Don't even get me started on road noise.
It costs so much, we are basically paying to sleep here. I won't have enough to spare for a bus, cab, lyft, you name it. Unfortunately it is labor day weekend and we had to stop and this was it. So no San Francisco sight seeing for us.
If you can, avoid this park. It is not, in any way, worth over $30. Maybe they will realize this one day. We camped at Candlestick RV Park in a Motorhome.

I understand now why you had to reserve online and why it was the only RV park with spaces available.
This is by far the worst place I have stayed in my last 2 full months of touring the Western US. I haven't stayed in a park more than 2 days so that should give you an idea as to how many parks I have been to. That is a lot of parks to be picked as THE WORST EVER. We reserved a spot for two nights that ended up being $92.00 for two nights with pets.
1. We put in our reservations we'd arrive at 7 PM. There was no one in the office or anything left out for us. We were up there so long looking for some sort of sign that two 10-yr-olds came to ask if I needed help. I just picked a random spot. When you make a reservation you can pick premium pull-through or standard back-in. There is no way to tell what space costs more because they all look the same: TERRIBLE.
2. Their website is an absolute misrepresentation of everything they are and have to offer. Covered dining is no more than old tables under a metal awning. It is ALL DIRT. ALL OF IT. There is a bit of a paved road if you want to call it that and a patch of dead grass for dogs. There are small kids raking the insane build-up of leafs for fun in the "dining area." And business center?! PLEASE POINT THIS OUT TO ME because I am 100% positive it does NOT exist.
3. We still haven't seen the camp host- we shouldn't have bothered paying $2/pet when they wouldn't even know.
This is obviously a place for people who want to go wine tasting and golfing and come back drunk so they don't even realize how terrible it is.
I will absolutely be asking for a refund for my second day.
Do yourself a favor and spring for a cute room at a cottage down the street. We camped at Calistoga RV and Campground in a Motorhome.

The Pony Express in North SLC *looks* nice, but that's about it. I have been in about 12 parks over the last two weeks in 4 states and this one takes the friggin' cake. It has a strange sewage odor. I saw some reviews about the pool being closed for the health department, but when I called and asked they said the pool was open. This was a deciding factor in our stay since we just spent 6 hrs cleaning up our flooded RV from a busted pipe. We booked two days. The pool is closed. They are waiting on the health department. Why is that? Why is their pool always waiting for the health department? That makes me uneasy. The crew member said we were welcome to cancel with no problem when we asked about the pool, but this morning we got a different story. When the girl at the desk decided she wanted to get an attitude and tell me I can pay until Monday if I need to speak to a manager that badly, I decided it was review time. Not only all of this, but it's extremely loud from highway traffic. The water pressure in the showers is a drizzle. The other reviews were right, they put you at the end with no shade by the highway. And the WiFi is a joke! I get an average of four minutes before it disconnects. FOUR MINUTES?! I am paying for all this extra stuff I don't even get. After all of this, even though we signed NOTHING and we were not told we couldn't get a refund, they refuse to help us out. There is a Walmart down the street that allows over nights, I would go there instead if you absolutely have to stop right then. This place has left a bad taste in my mouth for SLC and Pony Express. Never again. We camped at Pony Express RV Resort in a Motorhome.
