Holiday Travel Park of Chattanooga, Rossville, Georgia

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

We enjoyed this park. It had been raining for days so there was a lit of standing water. Most of the RV sites were dry in the parking area, though on grass near motorhome was very soggy. The tent sites were mostly flooded. Everything else was very nice. It was nicely manicured, very clean and everything worked. Our cable worked very well. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lots of history here as the park is in an area of civil war encampments. We camped at Holiday Travel Park of Chattanooga in a Motorhome.

Smoky Bear Campground, Gatlinburg, Tennessee

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

We were fortunate to get the last spot in the campground. It was a little tight, especially the car, but staff very helpful getting us comfortable. The owner and staff were excellent and helped with ideas in visiting Gatlinburg. The campground was well maintained. Pool and hot tub were already closed for the season. We camped at Smoky Bear Campground in a Motorhome.

Fort Chiswell RV Park, Max Meadows, Virginia

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This park was OK. We had a pull through site which was long enough but not level front to back. In addition, the site was very narrow, nearly touching our neighbors. This was true only in our section of the park. Some of the other sites had very adequate space and some had concrete pads. On the plus side, staff were very friendly and accommodating. Lots of folks seem to use this as an overnight stop. We camped at Fort Chiswell RV Park in a Motorhome.

Outlanders River Camp, Luray, Virginia

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We loved this park. The property runs along the Shendendoah River with very nice walking and golf cart trails. The RV sites are open, but that did allow us satellite connections. There is no cable. The staff our very friendly and helpful. Electric and sewer connections were good. The tent areas were really nice and they also have a primative area which was totally beautiful. We camped at Outlanders River Camp in a Motorhome.

Stand Rock Campground, Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

We had a reservation for a long time before we arrived. The site was pull through, but we were unable to level the coach as the site slanted upward toward the front of the coach. Staff were responsive, giving us another spot. The amenities were nice, especially the pool, but much of it closed ( restaurant, bar, office, store) after the weekend. We were unable to connect with our satellite tv, there were only a few local channels. There was no cable and wifi was very iffy. Normally this would not bother us, but the olympics were on. There was only 30 amp at our site. We did not see any sites with 50 amp. We camped at Stand Rock Campground in a Motorhome.

Cedar Shore Resort, Oacoma, South Dakota

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We loved the view of the Missouri River from our campsite. Site was nice with concrete pad and level, although we noticed some others were not. Next door is a more traditional resort and campers allowed to use amenities such as indoor pool. We had an excellent dinner in the restaurant. There was also an outside Tiki bar that served pub food. There was also a marina onsite and we rented a pontoon boat for the afternoon. We camped at Cedar Shore Resort in a Motorhome.

Custer's Gulch RV Park, Custer, South Dakota

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

The really nice thing about this park is that the sites are very spacious. Site is gravel for parking, but lots of grass. Full service and worked well except water pressure was sometime low. All roads are gravel. Facilities such as clubhouse very dated and need of facelift. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay. We camped at Custer's Gulch RV Park in a Motorhome.

Big Timber KOA, Big Timber, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $54.00
Overall Rating:

This a so so park. The sites were pull through gravel and long. Electric and sewer were good. We had difficulty finding the park, as the address was incorrect. There was a pool, a little small but OK. There was a lot of road noise that was very irritating when outside. We camped at Big Timber KOA in a Motorhome.

Snake River RV Park & Campground, Idaho Falls, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here while visiting friends in the area and it was very convenient. We enjoyed the trail along the river, although you could not access it from the campground. Staff very friendly and helpful. Pancake breakfast in morning for $3.00. Sites were close. Some trees and those on our site blocked satellite reception. No cable. Pool and hot tub nice. The location of the dump was a problem. In the morning there was a line-up that blocked others from leaving. However everyone was pleasant and cooperative and worked it out. We camped at Snake River RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Pony Express RV Resort, North Salt Lake, Utah

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

This is a beautiful park and very well maintained. Not much shade; the trees are still small. Everything worked well. Staff very friendly and considerate. We were taken to our site and assisted in hooking up. Although fairly close together, sites were very nice with concrete pad for motorhome and additional pad for car. There was grass with picnic table. Nice clubhouse and pool. We camped at Pony Express RV Resort in a Motorhome.
