Harrisonburg / Shenandoah Valley KOA, Broadway, Virginia

Date of Stay: April, 2007 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Very quiet and peaceful. A little tricky maneuvering the road into, road is narrow. Great dog area with lots of room for them to run plus a creek for swimming. Very friendly staff, and they kept the place very clean. The bathrooms were one of the nicest we've ever seen. Our site was a tad small but there were some very big sites in the park. We will definitely return, a beautiful area. We camped at Harrisonburg / Shenandoah Valley KOA in a Motorhome.

Muddy Run Recreation Park, Holtwood, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: September, 2006 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Love this park because it' s close to home, but don' t like the lack of close water hookups. (But for $20, it' s worth it) Not a lot of large sites-you pretty much have to know the park to get one specifically-so not a real good choice if you have a Big Rig. Beautiful scenery and nice trails for hiking. A lot of wildlife to see! Great bass fishing. Very peaceful. We camped at Muddy Run Recreation Park in a Motorhome.

Twin Grove RV Resort & Cottages, Pine Grove, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: December, 2005 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

By far one of the nicest parks we've been to. We've been on the waiting list for 4 years to get our own site. Lots of activities for everyone, so you or your kids should never get bored. State park across the street for hiking and such. Restaurant is very reasonable with excellent food, in case you want to take a break from cooking. We visit several times each year. We camped at Twin Grove RV Resort & Cottages in a Motorhome.
