Beverly Beach RV Camptown RV Resort, Flagler Beach, Florida

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $57.00
Overall Rating:

Rate shown is based on the monthly rate for an oceanfront site.

Let's face it folks, it's only about the ocean and beach that's right there. This is no resort by any means. No swimming pool, just the beach. WiiFi is terrible and through no fault of the owner, Verizon service is poor.

Employees seem friendly but the owner just cruises around in his Lexus ignoring his customers. We camped at Beverly Beach RV Camptown RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Little Patch of Heaven (formerly Holt's Campground), Bardstown, Kentucky

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Under new ownership but the park is the same mess as before. No one at the office ..... "Just pick a site." We chose a site with only water and electric because the sewer sites were too detached away from the hookups. After hooking up to the site we chose, we found that the water was not running. Just a frustrating afternoon. We left and found a space elsewhere. Our advice to those coming to Bardstown ...... Stay away from Lil Patch of Heaven (formerly Holt's) We camped at Little Patch of Heaven (formerly Holt's Campground) in a Motorhome.

Angel Lake RV Park, Wells, Nevada

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

A very nice park owned by very nice people. This is a good over night stop close to I 80 with minimal road noise. The laundry and shower rooms are in the same building as the office so they are constantly monitored for cleanliness. The washers and dryers are practically new and appear to work just fine. The sites are gravel and a bit tight but not a problem. We would surely stay here again when in the area. We camped at Angel Lake RV Park in a Motorhome.

Bordertown Casino RV Resort, Reno, Nevada

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

This park is almost a 10 but with no pool it misses the mark. However, the park is titled "resort" and this is the closest we've found among many pretenders. The photos on the web site are true, no Photoshopping here. The pads are concrete with built in picnic tables and each site has beautiful green grass, almost velvet like. Everything is clean and well kept. We intended to stay just one night until we saw the park which includes a casino, deli, restaurant, and gas station with LP gas available. We intend to stay at least one more day and maybe more. We will return when in the area.. We camped at Bordertown Casino RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Redwoods River Resort, Leggett, California

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

Pass this one by! If you're traveling and looking for an overnight stop, this is way overpriced at $48. The place is dusty with no grass, just dirt. No cable, no TV period. WiFi is $3 per day extra on top of the already inflated price of $48. Decent Verizon service. Next time near here, we'll just keep on truckin'. We camped at Redwoods River Resort in a Motorhome.

Four Seasons RV Resort, Gold Beach, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This is a jewel of a campground. Very nice people to greet you and help you park. The jet boats usually stop here, but the low water level makes them stop next door where we went to get aboard. Good Wi-Fi and good Verizon service. All in all a very, very nice experience at this well kept park. We camped at Four Seasons RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Klamath River RV Park, Klamath, California

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This is a Passport America park and at $31.50 per night is a rip. Nothing but a large grass yard with hook ups, but it is clean. I would hate to see what the regular rate is. They even have the nerve to charge $5.00 extra for a riverfront site. Nothing going on there except water flowing by. Wireless is an extra charge. Verizon service is poor. Would we would not stay here again. We camped at Klamath River RV Park in a Motorhome.

Beverly Beach RV Camptown RV Resort, Flagler Beach, Florida

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $51.00
Overall Rating:

The rate noted ($1,540 including tax) is for a 1 month stay. The best thing about this campground is the proximity to the Atlantic Ocean. The office/store is well stocked and well kept. The laundry facilities are fairly new and are also well maintained. The office staff and maintenance people are polite and helpful. The campground itself can best be described as "up scale primitive" as it's basically a sandy parking lot with hookups. No pool, lousy Wi-Fi, and marginal cable reception. With all it's shortcomings and head numbing prices, I guess if you want the ocean nearby this is the place to be. We camped at Beverly Beach RV Camptown RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Emerald Beach RV Park, Navarre, Florida

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

These are the positives: A very nice park with paved roads, concrete pads, and patios, plus grass. The staff is very nice and helpful. Most of the previous comments we agree with. However, there are negatives to be considered: The beach is approximately 50 yards wide and 20 yards from the back to waters edge. Pretty dinky considering the amount of people and "stuff" they drag along. Since the beach is on Santa Rosa Sound, the water lacks the beautiful clear green color for which this area is known. The swimming pool is small for the number of people using it. More like a big hot tub containing lots of kids. Need I mention the "P" word? Heavy traffic flying by on Route 98 is an issue. Because the highway is divided, only right turns can be made. Making a "U" turn in a motor home pulling a toad is a little tough so it's better to go east a little ways to the Wal-Mart fot turnaround, and maybe fuel, if you're going west. Considering the lack of a good beach and price, we would not return. We camped at Emerald Beach RV Park in a Motorhome.

Four Seasons RV Resort, Gold Beach, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

We were on a 36 day trip and stayed in quite a few campgrounds along the way. Four Seasons was (and is) our favorite. The owner and employees couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating. The campground is clean and well kept at all times. We had a riverside site and had an enjoyable time watching the river otters play every morning. Also enjoyed watching the beautiful jet boats running the rapids. Although we didn't take a boat ride this time, we could have as the boat stops at the CG dock on it's way by. We intend to return and stay much longer the next time. We camped at Four Seasons RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is a great little campground. Nice people at the office, clean, well kept, grassy sites and best of all it's quiet. No trains, no truck traffic, no airport. We stay here everytime we pass through the Wytheville area. We camped at Fort Chiswell RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

A very over priced campground. Nothing more than a gravel parking lot with uneven sites. We only considered this place because we were tired and wanted off the interstate for a nights sleep. We camped at Charlotte / Fort Mill KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Just a big, ugly, gravel parking lot. Only if you're desperate for a site because of the races next door should you consider this place. We camped at Camping World Racing Resort (formerly Charlotte Motor Speedway CG) in a Travel Trailer.

Having traveled, and stayed, in almost every state, our opinion is that this is the best RV Park in the US. Everything is top notch. Will return whenever we can. We camped at Evergreen Park in a Travel Trailer.

Sampson State Park, Romulus, New York

Date of Stay: August, 2006 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Even though there are no full hookups (just electric) this is a favorite campground. The US Air Force and US Navy museums are first rate and should not be missed. The CG is located close by the Wine Trail and sits right beside beautiful Seneca Lake. We camped at Sampson State Park in a Travel Trailer.
