Bathrooms were cleaned daily, old and dated. Laundry facility was dirty, had to pay 4.00 for a debit type card to wash clothes. However, loads were only a dollar each, I will hope that other parks I stay in have the same device. Vending machines for drinks did not work the entire 2 week stay, I did bring it to the attention of one of the Sales Agents. Many guests are full timers, it has cleaned up a bit since our stay here last December, but still feels dumpy and kind of uncomfortable. Many sewer spills from people carting their own waste to the sewer dump station. A large sewer spill from one of the rental cabins was handled promptly, and apparently appropriately. This same day there was no access to the dump station or all but on set of bathrooms. Most of the staff was friendly, however, a couple were just outright rude. California has been in a drought, I get that. When we were here in the winter, it was a muddy mess. This summer it has been nothing but a dirty dust bowl. There are cones and fences in the open grass area, you can't go there. This is definitely a dog friendly park, a lot of people did not pick up after their pets. Gate code was changed frequently, unfortunately, we were not told, and had issues getting in one night. It is time for Thousand Trails to take a serious look at this park and how it is advertised. I am pretty sure we will not be back. Time for a major overhaul of this park, such a waste for all that this area has to offer. We camped at Thousand Trails / Morgan Hill Preserve in a Motorhome.
Plenty of shopping, 20-30 minutes from just about everything, Plenty of sunshine and trees. Local Wineries.
