Fairmont Hot Springs Resort RV Park, Fairmont Hot Springs, British Columbia

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

Arrived and got set up and were told we could put up a pet enclosure. A staff member told us to take it off the grass. We had to set it up on the paved driveway. Our pets like grass. So do we. We managed to squeak in a little grass in front of the rv door. Many campers commented on the fact that the dogs had no grass to play on. If you can have lawn chairs on the grass, then why not a pet enclosure that is not pegged down? Unfairness to dogs. If you have a pet, please be aware of this fact. Also, the pool was 24.00 for 2 adults, one scoop of ice cream was 12.00 for 2. High priced park. I would rather have stayed in the forest type sites instead of the deluxe. The pool and scenery were nice, but it put a damper on our 4 day visit because our dogs were not treated decently. We will not be coming back. The staff member did not make our stay memorable. We do not tie up our pets to the RV, we prefer to have them run loose in their enclosure where they cannot be harmed and they can enjoy themselves with freedom. Also, no pet blankets allowed to be washed in the laundromat so if your pet has an accident, you need to buy a new blank. We camped at Fairmont Hot Springs Resort RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
