WOW, this is a really nice campground. The owners really know what they are doing! Just like the reviews in the past states!! When you arrive they show you to your site and help you get set up. The seasonal people are really nice also. The weekend we were there they had Christmas in August site decorating, a parade for the kids with Santa and other activities. The campground sits on the bay and has a wonderful view. We will definitely make this a campground to visit every year!

Nice quiet, clean campground with a gated entrance. Very family oriented with activities on the weekends and holidays. You must make reservation on the internet with credit card, or in person, but note, they do not take reservations over the phone. I made a reservation at the last minute during the 4th of July and had no problems getting in as they seem to always have sites available. They do have some strict rules such as; campfires must be completely put out by 1130pm. Which they do go through the campground and tell you to put them out even if you are still sitting around it. Which is really not a bad thing, as the campground is really quiet at night!

This was our 3rd time camping here and we love it. The camp ground is on a small lake and all the sites are wooded. This time we went was the the day it opened for the year and some cleaning up was still needed, the sites had sticks and leaves on them. Really not a big deal. If you never been here before, you may want to ask to drive through and look at the sites if you have a big rig. Some of the sites have trees that may hinder your slides or long rig.

Where do I start. The camp ground is run down. Old campers left there and falling apart. The bathrooms and shower building should be condemned. The camp sites were unlevel. The water and electric hook ups were shared between 4 other sites, which you need an extension to hook up to because they are so far away. The camp ground sits on the Susquehanna River. Last year they had massive flooding. The campground was probably nice before it flooded. Hopefully they get things fixed because the location is nice.

This campground is not bad if you have kids. A lot for them to do. Hershey park is right down the road and a shuttle bus will take you right to the park gate. The Staff is very friendly and the grounds were very clean. They have a garbage pick up every morning at your site. We just had to bag it up and place it at the edge of the road in front of your site. The bad thing was the railroad tracks at the one end of the campground that has a train go through every 4 or so hours(the staff at the desk warns you about when you check in).
