Farragut State Park, Athol, Idaho

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Best state park in Idaho! Very clean and well maintained sites. Our only disappointment was the closure of showers and washroom facilities in very early September, leaving only pit toilets. Upon arrival we were greeted by our park Hosts and were checked on each day. We had not experienced this in any other Park. We were made to feel very welcome and will definitely return next season. We camped at Farragut State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Blackwell Island RV Park, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho

Overall Rating:

Well run and maintained park, although our grass could have been cut. It is very close to CDA/ Hayden shopping and amenities. Great jumping off spot for all types of activities Will definitely stay there again. We camped at Blackwell Island RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Bridgeport State Park, Bridgeport, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Very clean and well state park. Toxic algae levels in the lake prohibited humans or pets from swimming. There was no advance notice of this problem when we booked (just 2 days before our arrival). It was very disappointing not be able to utilize the lake in the heat of the summer. We witnessed families arrive for their reservation and immediately leave. The adjacent 9 hole golf course made our stay worthwhile. Wifi was excellent and unexpected bonus. Ice and firewood available for purchase. We camped at Bridgeport State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Bring bug spray if camped near the water or large grassy areas. Otherwise we did not encounter mosqito issues in or near our site. There is a control program in place.

NK’MIP RV Park, Osoyoos, British Columbia

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Campground is very crowded. Every available inch of waterfront is used. Staff is indifferent and appear to care less about providing service. The sites are not raked/ cleaned between reservations. To park our RV we had to have both neighbors move their tow vehicles. We camped at NK’MIP RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
