First time to visit this type of RV park during their peak season. Not impressed. Staff was nice enough. Trailer parking areas had trash I picked up. Sewer connection located at base of power post. Family advised against using showers with out shower shoes. Horses could be better cared for. Not impressed with animal care. Horses should have orthopaedic pads, fly masks, fly sprayed while tethered and standing saddled in sun. Wrangler needs to improve care or owners find another. Won't return. We camped at Fun Valley Campground in a Travel Trailer.
If you like to go for driving trips to see the country side, it was beautiful. During peak season, it is crowded, lots of children and adults riding bikes on road. Rio Grande was very low. Water tubing with water so low was difficult. Refused to consider horseback riding given how poorly horse's were cared for as I am a horse owner. Fire pit with no established rings too close to where camper was parked. Food was fair. Pricing to stay, paid activities over priced.
