Twin Rivers Canyon Resort, Moyie Springs, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This park is a beautiful hidden gem. Very clean washrooms, nice sites. The road down was was big challenge for myself with a truck & 34 foot travel trailer. As a female driver I can proudly say I owned those switchbacks, and I can add that to my driving experience! Its not for everyone, but once you are started there is no backing out! We camped at Twin Rivers Canyon Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Glacier Haven RV Park, Essex, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

The man who checked us in was abrupt & rude and that should have been our 1st indication to not stay at this campground.

We understand the rule of 10pm quiet time, but to have to fires out at 10 when we are quietly sitting beside it is a little ridiculous.

We understood that you could either have the breakfast buffet or order off the menu, however we were told upon getting there that we should go down the road if we wanted to have breakfast other than what was served at the buffet, with food allergies this was not going to work for us, it was very strange.

The biggest issue however was the trains.....quiet time is at 10, but with trains every 30-40 min & the track about 40 feet away, the noise we would have made was nothing compared to that amount of noise!

This has been the highest price campground we came across ($60 usd) & would not recommend it with their rules & no sleep due to noise of highway and trains. We camped at Glacier Haven RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
