Maumelle COE, Little Rock, Arkansas

Date of Stay: December, 2017 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park. Beautiful setting on the river. Clean and very well laid out. Quiet with only the sounds of the river and critters scurrying around. Very serene stay. Reservation was easy to make, host was friendly, courteous and professional. Only one gripe: no sewer hookups at the majority of the campground. Just dump stations. We camped at Maumelle COE in a Motorhome.

America's Best Campground, Branson, Missouri

Date of Stay: November, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Great location. Wonderful staff. No issues with getting in or out. Cleanest laundry we have come across. Bathrooms were clean as well. Downside: the levels of the spots. This could easily be fixed. Get a grader and a bucket loader and level the spots. It truly would Best the best if they did this. We camped at America's Best Campground in a Motorhome.

Duck Creek RV Park, Paducah, Kentucky

Date of Stay: November, 2017 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Great for an overnight stop. Longer than that....Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Nice folks. Camp was Easy to get in and out. This is mostly a long term or seasonal Campground. Lots of full time long term set ups at the back and sides. People were friendly enough. You are camped next to an insurance auto auction. One thing we found was that their rules were rather unique. We suggest you read and heed them. You just never know. Ex: If Lady Luck frowns on you and you end up incarcerated, you will already know that your visit at The Duck is terminated. Tips for a peaceful stay: Keep that shirt on and quit honking your horn. Leave the critters in the pond alone. Muskrats (are not the lovers the Captain & Tanille sang off) they will bite We camped at Duck Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.

Ceraland Campground, Columbus, Indiana

Date of Stay: November, 2017 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Great location and a huge amount of things to do. The Camp is gigantic. Lots of activities to enjoy. The only 2 downsides we found were the insufficient amount laundry machines and site levels. 2 washers and 2 dryers does not work for a campground with 308 sites. Please Put a full laundrymat in. Our first site was not level or close to level. We hunted around for one and moved. I recommend The management go thru each site and level it. Many spots were awkwardly sloped. We camped at Ceraland Campground in a Motorhome.

Wright-Patt FamCamp at Bass Lake (Military FamCamp), Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Great MWR campground. Located back by the Reserve Squadron. Peaceful, quiet and well worth it. Hosts are awesome. Extremely helpful and courteous. One of them, a retired FE, got us in to our spot without any problems. No issues with Satellite reception. Water and electricity were fine. Do yourself a huge favor. Make note of the 24 hour gate in your GPS. The north gate closes as do most gates on this base. If you don't know the base it becomes an unwelcome adventure to find your way off. We camped at Wright-Patt FamCamp at Bass Lake (Military FamCamp) in a Motorhome.

Wow, nice park in the Amish Country. Nice layout. Top notch facilities. Spots were wide enough and long enough for our 45 bus and toad. Not level but a few adjustments on our rig and we were good to go. Great Satellite signal. Beautiful area that was very peaceful and serene. Waubeeka Family Campground, Copake, New York

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed 4 nights. Park was crowded with Columbus day campers. Kids, golfcarts and lots of partiers. Spot was sorta level. All services worked. Camp is being worked on and they still have work to do. Some fixed structures were closed. Only one public restroom was open (that we knew of). There is no laundry at the camp. They said they shall have one next season. This needs to be a priority as the local Copake laundry is dirty & 50% of the machines do not work. Drive to another town if you need to do laundry. We were able to get satellite service with no issues as we were in a pull thru. We camped at Waubeeka Family Campground in a Motorhome.

Brattleboro North KOA, Brattleboro, Vermont

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

Clean, friendly park. Laundry room was clean. $2.00 to start laundry. Good location. Staff was great. I would give higher marks but, there are issues. The parking spots were too short & the trees needed to be trimmed back a bit. I had to back out of a pull thru due to the branches on the tree and the water pedestal in the site in front. Not all sites have sewer but they do offer 1 free honey bucket visit. 2nd visit is $10. Park charges $10 dollars per visitor. Really stinks if family stops over to get you. My sister came to pick us up for dinner. You have to pay for them just because they came to your site. First time I have encountered this. Save money, have them pick you up out front of the KOA. Admin note: Park website advises visitor rates vary from $4 to $12 depending on length of stay. We camped at Brattleboro North KOA in a Motorhome.
