Hartway Bed & Breakfast and RV Park, Prince George, British Columbia

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

We had the site behind the office/laundry room. It was a pull-through, very spacious and clean. We used the laundry facilities, which were clean.

The owners very nice and accommodating. I would stay there again. She suggested the Alpine Bar and Grill and the food was delicious ! We camped at Hartway Bed & Breakfast and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Gold Trail RV Park, Clinton, British Columbia

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Upon arrival we were given a site where the utilities were on the wrong side. Owner asked us if we had an extension cord, which we did not. We asked if we could move to a site that was level vs. on a hill and wouldn't require using an extension cord. He said "you're a pain" just because we needed one on the right side in order to plug in. He gave us a site on a hill where the tow vehicle was on an incline causing us to drag our tow hitch thru the grass. He was rude to my partner insinuating she was fat when she was complimenting him on cooking. He said "never trust a skinny cook, I see you cook a lot". He used his dirty apron to wipe the plates off before he served food on them. He knew we were Americans and insulted our country. The grounds are nice on the lower part of the park but the ones located at the top are difficult to get in unless you have a small rig. He didn't care if you had a difficult time trying to get in the site, you were going to be where he tells you to go! We had a 35 foot MH with a tow and it was a challenge! I would not stay there again due to the owners rudeness and his attitude towards Americans. We would had left but it was late at night and raining so unfortunately we stayed. This place is cash only! We camped at Gold Trail RV Park in a Motorhome.

Meziadin Provincial Park, Meziadin Junction, British Columbia

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

This park is very clean. The park operator is very patient and accommodating. We arrived in the evening right before a 3 day Canadian holiday and he was able to put us next to the lake for one night that had power and water. The following day we moved to a site above the lake and dry camped for the other night. He had firewood delivered to the campsite. The sites are very clean and spacious.

I would stay here again. They have fresh water and firewood. The park operator was having trouble with his router for WiFi and was having it repaired the following week. We were able to get on but not for long periods since his router was overheating. If you are able to get a lake site do so, it's beautiful here. We had no problem moving since we knew it was a holiday and most of the sights had been reserved for the weekend. We camped at Meziadin Provincial Park in a Motorhome.

Pullen Creek RV Park, Skagway, Alaska

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We read the reviews from previous campers and were hesitant about making reservations here. We had called the other campground in the area but they were full. So we decided to stay here. We are happy we did. The grounds were clean and bushes trimmed. The sites were spacious and very well maintained. They have a dump station and water & elec (30&50 amp). We went by the other campground listed in the area, and their sites were closer together and didn't look as spacious. Someone had posted the people coming off the cruise ships walk through the sites to get to town. This no longer happens since they have installed fencing. The staff was very nice and accommodating. We stayed in site 20. This park is about a block away from town which made it very accessible to shop. If we ever came back we would choose this park over the others listed even though no sewer hookups available. We camped at Pullen Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.
