Trailer Ranch RV Park (55+ Park), Santa Fe, New Mexico

Date of Stay: March, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Mostly a permanent trailer park (higher scale) but had very good RV sites. We have stayed here before and obviously liked it. Dog park is quite a distance away and very large but dirt. Located a few miles from Old Town. Great trees and walls keep most of the street noise out. Showers are a bit small and lack multi hooks but clean. Showers were near to RVs and very warm (stayed in March). We will stay here again when we return to Santa Fe. Hosts were good and helpful in parking. Pad was gravel but patio was concrete. Drives were asphalt. We camped at Trailer Ranch RV Park (55+ Park) in a Motorhome.

I believe this is a 55+ park. If you have a car there is room to park near by.

USA RV Park, Gallup, New Mexico

Date of Stay: March, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Has a fun store and the host are great. Sites was gravel/dirt but clean. Away from I-40. Route 66 was near by but not much sound. Late in the evening we have airplanes landing/taking off. Also, a couple of trains near by. Very good dog park but some campers did not pick up waste. I'd stay here again. We camped at USA RV Park in a Motorhome.

Surprise to us Gallup is a great tourist town with lots of native American things to buy and to see. We really enjoyed Gallup. Would definitely stay here again.

Distant Drums RV Resort, Camp Verde, Arizona

Date of Stay: March, 2017 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

Great people and helpful. We had a couple of problems, not their fault, but they helps us instantly. We chose here over Sedona and glad we did. we spent 4 nights. Restrooms were like a home with toilet, sink and shower in a very large private room. Paved roads and concrete pad. Convient to Casino if you gamble, we didn't. Also, close to several points of interest. Coffee in the morning and popcorn in the evening. Good place to walk pets and a very nice pet pen but no grass. Arizona park just don't have grass in the dog pens. We would definitely stay there again. We camped at Distant Drums RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Bar J Hitchin Post RV, Sweetwater, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2017 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Best restroom design and finishes of any we stayed at. Community room nice with pool table. Roads was from what I believe to be reused asphalt. Sites were gravel and need a little of leveling help. Quite a bit of space for pets but no pet pen. Fair amount of grass around each site but in the out lying areas it was spotty. Clean Park. Close to I-20 so there is some noise. We camped at Bar J Hitchin Post RV in a Motorhome.

Convient to I-20 with a Love's service station across the road. We were tired so we didn't notice the sound of I-20 much. The roads in the park were partial gravel, reused asphalt and dirt. The damp grass cause havoc with our dogs dirty feet. The restrooms were a 10+. Really nice. The park was clean and plenty of space between sites. We would stay here again.

Only negative was not having a concrete pad but gravel was very clean

Good area for pets. One of the best thing is beautiful paved roads. Very clean. Had a meal for us on night of arrival and bingo in the "barn." Pretty good distant from I-10 so road noise was minimal. I would stay there again.

Angel Fire RV Resort, Angel Fire, New Mexico

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

Outstanding campground. Everything was really great, but I did suggest they add a web mat to the showers that were pristine. Also, the washers and dryers were a little hard to figure out how to pay. They only take credit cards for the washers and dryers. Everything is new. We camped at Angel Fire RV Resort in a Motorhome.
