Lakewood Camping Resort, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

This park is okay. Negatives: The bathrooms are not air conditioned. (This is the south so you would expect AC in the bathhouses.) The roads need maintenance. Ants at campsites are terrible. The grass around campsites has not been mowed in quite some time. Has dirt sites so watch out when it rains. The neighbor's sewer connection is pretty much on your site. Park has small sites, low water pressure and golf carts everywhere!! Positives: The beach is nice, there is lots of security, two pools (in/outside), activities, staff, quiet at night, and the roadways are wide. We camped at Lakewood Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, Lake Buena Vista, Florida

Date of Stay: April, 2007 - $86.00
Overall Rating:

We camp here often and have always had a great experience. The only draw back is some sites have the hookups too close to the pad causing issues with slide outs and in the winter it is very hard to get a site as they book up quickly. Security patrols often and grounds are very quiet at night. Many amenities but all cost additional money. The atmosphere and Disney Theme Parks keep us coming back. We camped at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.
