Beautiful setting - we saw deer, a beaver, cardinals, rabbits and squirrels. Spacious sites. I wish we could have stayed longer. Bathrooms not fancy but clean. We camped at Caesar Creek State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Grandma's RV Camping, Shepherdsville, Kentucky

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Pull thru site, but barely room to walk between campers. Washers in laundry took our money and wi-fi did not work. Staff unfriendly. Bathroom dirty.

Dogs allowed, but several mean signs about where they could be walked.

We stayed here because family was close by despite the bad reviews, and regretted it. We camped at Grandma's RV Camping in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Twisty, steep road if you come in through Oneida, TN. We lost a jack! Use the road through Jamestown.

Lake Ridge RV Resort, Hillsville, Virginia

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Nice setting with all the amenities: pools, mini golf, game room, laundry, etc., but minimally maintained. Not as nice as the photos.

Kids everywhere. Park is used as a field trip destination for local daycares and schools. We camped at Lake Ridge RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Super clean campground in a beautiful setting. Several hiking and biking trails in the area. Campground is set between the towns of Galax and Hillsville with organic farms and great restaurants. Be sure to visit the Alpaca farm across the street. We camped at Fancy Gap Cabins and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Towns Bluff RV Park and Heritage Center, Hazlehurst, Georgia

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

Well maintained woodsy camp with small museum and a hiking trail. Pull-through site was level and water/electric hook ups in good condition. It was raining and since there was very little grass or gravel it got messy, but overall a nice place. We would stay there again. We camped at Towns Bluff RV Park and Heritage Center in a Fifth Wheel.

Elliotts Landing and Campground, Pinewood, South Carolina

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Park could have been nice but was in need of maintenance. Road, site, sewer/water connections and lawn in poor condition. Did not use bath facilities due to outside appearance. Camp store equipped with canned goods, basic necessities and bait, but was dirty and outdated. Several long term residents had excessive debris around their RVs. Insects and ants made going outside impossible. More of a fish camp-like atmosphere than RV park. Owners were nice and view of river lovely, but we would not stay there again. We camped at Elliotts Landing and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
