Verde River RV Resort & Cottages , Camp Verde, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Stopped here on our way South for the winter. Everything is brand new in the park. The laundry & bathrooms/showers are very up to date and clean. Sewer hook up needs work, but is usable. The pool area is one of the nicest we have seen. Their cottages are brand new and all have a nice porch. I was given a FHU dirt/gravel pull-thru that was plenty big enough for my RV. Sites are staggered, but you still are 25'-30' from your neighbor. Wifi worked at better times of the day. I was able to use my dish and most spots are in the open. Landscaping was ongoing during our visit. Once all the upgrades are completed this will be a 5 star park. We camped at Verde River RV Resort & Cottages in a Fifth Wheel.

Richfield KOA, Richfield, Utah

Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

Park is located in town and close to all shopping. Pull-thru & back-ins are more than adequate. You are close to your neighbors. The park is shaded, so a dish will not work and their cable TV has very limited channels. They advertise wi-fi, but it is non-existant. You will need your own hot spot. Good overnight stop. We camped at Richfield KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort, Missoula, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Since my last visit here last year, the park is starting to look run down. It looks like no money coming in is going back into the park. Sites are full of ruts & not kept up. Showers could use some new curtains. Three washing machines for the whole park, with one out of order. The wi-fi still works well and they still have the ice cream social. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Nugget RV Park, St. Regis, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

Park is located just east of town in a beautiful setting. We were given a gravel FHU pull/thru for our 42' 5th wheel. Our site had grass, picnic table, great satellite reception, and some shade. The wi-fi was poor, but my hot spot worked fine. Laundry and showers we up to date & very clean, but the showers are just a little small. Owners are very friendly and you can tell they take pride in the park. The sites are all level and the park is easy to maneuver in. I had plenty of room to unhook & park my truck. For kids they had a playground, pool, games and hiking trails. If you like golfing; a beautiful (9) holes course is just 2 miles away with some great discounts. We camped at Nugget RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Clearwater Crossing RV Park, Orofino, Idaho

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Park is in town right on the Clearwater River Banks. All site overlook the river. I had a pull/thru FHU for my 42' 5th wheel. I had plenty of room for both the RV & Truck. Back in sites are gravel & pull/thru's are black top. Each site has a concrete patio and picnic table. The showers and laundry are up to date and very clean. They have cable TV and I was able to use my dish along with good wi-fi. Sites are level and the park is easy to get around in. The park is well kept, except for a few full time renters that have messy sites. Park is located in a beautiful area of ID. We camped at Clearwater Crossing RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Park is just outside of town & very close to any services you might need. I was in a FHU gravel pull/thru that had plenty of room for my 42' 5th wheel & truck. The park is easy to maneuver in. All sites have a concrete patio with a picnic table & are quite spacious. The laundry & bathrooms are very clean and up to date. I used my dish, but the cable tv had quite a few channels listed. The park wi-fi did not work at my site, but I was able to use my hotspot. This park is really kept up and clean, I would definitely come back. We camped at McCall RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Very well maintained park. I was given a concrete FHU pull/thru for my 42' 5th wheel. I had plenty of room to unhook and park with a nice grassy area and picnic table. The park is very easy to maneuver in and right in town. The bathroom & laundry are clean and up to date. I used my dish for TV and the wi-fi worked well on my site. Sites are shaded. I would use this park again. We camped at Mountain Home RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Sparks Marina RV Park, Sparks, Nevada

Overall Rating:

Park is in town and close to any supplies you might need. I was given FHU pull/thru for my 42' 5th wheel. The sites are level concrete pads with astro turf picnic areas with a picnic table. I just had enough room to park my truck after unhooking. The sites are fairly close together, but the picnic area is big enough. The cable tv & wi-fi are great here. The bathrooms & laundry are clean and the park is really kept up and clean. I would use this park again. We camped at Sparks Marina RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Mono Vista RV Park, Lee Vining, California

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

Made reservations early enough, so I would get a spot here on my visit to Yosemite. I was given a long pull-thru site for my 42' 5th wheel. Had plenty of room for my RV and room to park my truck. I had a gravel 50 amp site with a picnic table. Had to use their cable as trees made the dish inop. The wi-fi worked well. Sites are close together but easy to maneuver in the park. The park is right in town with some good restaurants and any type of supplies you need. The showers & bathroom are clean and up to date. The only delta is the cost of fuel in CA . We camped at Mono Vista RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Lakeside Casino & RV Park , Pahrump, Nevada

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

Was surprised how nice the park is laid out around a big pond in the middle of the park. I was given a standard b/in FHU 50 amp spot for my 42' 5th wheel. Sites are close to each other, but easy to get in for both b/in & pull/thru's. The sites are concrete with a concrete patio. The laundry & bath room are clean & modern. I used my dish for TV and the wi-fi did not work at all. There is a gas station at the park and the office sells your regular camping needs. The food in the casino is not too bad and is cheap enough. When you register you get vouchers for free gambling, food, T-shirt and drinks so it's like getting an extra $25 discount. If the wi-fi worked it would of gotten a 5 star. Canyon Trail RV Park, Boulder City, Nevada

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $53.00
Overall Rating:

Park is mostly full timers with a few spots for travelers. I was given a FHU 50 amp gravel pull-thru that was just big enough for my 42' 5th wheel. It had just enough room to park my truck on the side. The bathroom & laundry were clean & up to date. I used my dish for TV and the wi-fi was really bad. The sites are fairly close together. The park was easy to maneuver in and pretty much no shade. No tables, fire pit or grills on the sites. Park is great if you are wanting to see Boulder Dam. Park is close to any store you might need supplies from and 25 miles from Las Vegas. We camped at Canyon Trail RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Boulder Dam is only 8 miles away and very easy to get to. The park is also very close to town if you need supplies. We took the dinner cruise offered on the Lake Mead Cruises web site. It was a very good dinner and they take the old time paddle boat right up to the back of the dam for great pictures. Also took the post-card raft trip offered by Black Canyon River Adventures. It was well worth the money for this short but informative large raft trip.

Silver View RV Resort, Bullhead City, Arizona

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Entering the Park from the Deli/Store Park entrance is confusing, as the office is at the far opposite end of the park with poor signage leading you there. I was given a back/in FHU spot overlooking Laughlin, CA, across the Colorado River. Beautiful views from this premium gravel site of the river and casino's. The sites are close together, but were easy to get my 42' 5th wheel in. The laundry and bathrooms are dated, but very clean & adequate. There is cable TV, but I elected to use my dish; the wi-fi was non existent. You can pay a separate price for wi-fi, but I used a hot spot. The deli in the park sells sandwiches and other food supplies you use every day. I would give it a 5, if it had free wi-fi and some green grass to look at. Lake Havasu State Park, Lake Havasu City, Arizona

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

I was given a large pull/thru black top site with water and 50 amp service. Picnic table, charcoal grill & fire ring were on the gravel site. Site was large enough for my 42' 5th wheel and truck to park. The park is easy to maneuver in. The park is pretty much in the open to use your dish and close to the boat launch if your towing a boat. There is a dump station to use when you leave. They have a sandy beach and the park is two minutes from anything in town. I didn't use their bathrooms and there is no wi-fi or cable tv. Overall Rating:

No one in the office to check you in on weekends. Make a reservation in advance to get the gate code to check in on the weekend. Park is 4 yrs old with gravel pull-thru's with 50 amp FHU. Some sites have concrete pads for your chairs, and some just gravel. The sites are some of the biggest I've stayed in. The wi-fi works works great from the site I am on. The park is very clean and far off the highway from any hwy noise, but still close to supplies you might need. The park has everything you need from pools, weight room, bowling alleys to jacuzzi's. I would rate it a 4/5 just because of the gravel sites. We camped at Carefree Village Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
