Laguna Vista RV Park, Marshall, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

Small campground. This Campground is about 2 miles from I49 so no road noise at all. Not crowded. William, the owner, was very pleasant. Large gravel lot with fairly level spots. Full hook up. We had a pull through. There were 2 bathroom/shower rooms for each. They were small but very clean. Washers/dryers that I couldn't use. A good place to stay on our way to Louisiana. I would have given this campground 5 stars but when I headed to the shower and laundry at about 9 pm I discovered the bathrooms closed at 8 pm. I was ok I just showered in my trailer. I felt sorry for the guy near us in the pop up though! The owner lives next door. I believe maybe he could come back about 10 pm to lock up if he feels he needs to lock everything. Or perhaps a coded lock for the campers. We camped at Laguna Vista RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

White's RV Park, Clyde, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

While traveling from Washington State to Florida we stopped here. Wonderful spot for the night. Easy access to I-20 and for fuel. The owner was friendly and very accommodating. We even bought brown eggs from the farmer who was just delivering them to her! Small and quiet campground. Yes, there is road noise but every seasoned RVer knows that road noise becomes white noise when going to sleep!!! I would recommend this Campground to all. We camped at White's RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Make sure you call ahead if you want to stay there. The campground apparently fills up fast. There is a gas station right on the corner!

Flory's Cottages & Camping, Ronks, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

We have been coming to the Lancaster for many years, but this was our first time here. If you're looking for an active kid friendly place, don't come here. If you're looking for a peaceful friendly place - this is it!! We had one of the smaller sites in the back. It was fine for our needs. The campground is spotless. The managers made it a point to make sure all our needs we're taken care of!! The campground is in the middle of all the Amish attractions & food!!! The bathrooms and showers are spotless - thank you to whoever cleaned them every morning. The laundry room was clean ($2.25 wash, $1.75). Amish farms on three sides. We could sit and watch the farmer work his fields. There is no pool, no campfires allowed, no real game room, but plenty of peace and quiet and easy access to the best sights and food in the Amish area!!! This has become our new favorite campground! We camped at Flory's Cottages & Camping in a Travel Trailer.
