Sunset Point Campground, Harrington, Maine

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Wonderful park I will be returning to. Large spaces, some with porches, some with full hookup, some on the water, some with cable. A beautiful mowed walkway on the water, attractive office with book exchange, lovely, friendly setup. We camped at Sunset Point Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Camp Three Forks , Three Forks, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful setting and landscaping, but grumpy hosts. And they lock a gate at 10:00pm and, at the same time, turn off the WiFi router! We camped at Camp Three Forks in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Take a walk in Tubbs Hill park. It's downtown: but vast trail network with gorgeous scenery and "hidden" beaches on the lake.

Umpqua's Last Resort Campground & RV Park, Idleyld Park, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Usually you find either RV parks that have full hookups OR you find a campground that is scenic and wooded. Umpqua's Last Resort offers both. It is located within the Umpqua Nat'l Forest and there's a short trail right from the campground, perfect for walking your dog. It's a family-run park. The hosts being so friendly and helpful, it's a delight staying here. The area offers many hiking opportunities, river trips, waterfalls and even a natural hot spring. Great WiFi! (But little phone reception.) A half hour from a small grocery store, 40 minutes from a small city. Remote but gorgeous. We camped at Umpqua's Last Resort Campground & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

It is near Diamond Lake (great swimming), and an hour from Crater Lake.
