Encore Sunshine Holiday Daytona RV Resort, Ormond Beach, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2018 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This is a VERY tight park. Roads are very narrow with sharp turns. We were on a premium site which meant we had a concrete pad (fortunately), because there was 3" of standing water between us and the next site. The people who didn't have slabs, were in mud. Very poor drainage, in the whole park. No cable, no wifi (unless you bought it), and trees prevented setting up satellite. We camped at Encore Sunshine Holiday Daytona RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Space Coast RV Resort, Rockledge, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2018 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Very tight spots. No Verizon signal, no cable, and trees blocking satellite. The dog walking area was postage stamp size, and because of the sites being so tight another camper was parking his car there. Because the sites were so short, we had to park sideways in front of our trailer. Our neighbor decided to put a metal rack our by the road in front of our truck. When we pulled out it was in our blindspot, so the outside dual caught it and flipped it into the fender. To many bad experiences for us here. We camped at Space Coast RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Stagecoach RV Park, St Augustine, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park that I would have rated higher except for the gravel. Otherwise can't say enough good about this place. They have one of the nicest dog parks we've ever seen at an rv park. We camped at Stagecoach RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Atlanta Marietta Campground, Marietta, Georgia

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

Calling this a resort is like calling a beat up old Caddy a luxury car. It's an old park with minimal upgrades. It's tight and the speed bumps bear the scars of many landing pad scrapes. The sites are so close that there's no parking for a vehicle other than on the street, which makes it even worse getting in and out. Lot of permanent residents, with junk outside. The sites are crumbling blacktop for a pad, not level.

The biggest problem we had was with the manager on duty when we arrived. After check in we were assigned a site. With cars in the street I had to jack a 40' 5th wheel around a car, and miss an old motor home that was just over the edge of the street on the other side. It was tight, but we managed to get in. When I plugged in the EMS and flipped the breaker it immediately tripped, then showed no voltage. I tried it two more times then went to the office. The manager who checked me in acted like it was big imposition to even come out, telling me and everyone else in earshot about how he didn't want to do this and he didn't want to mess with this crap. When he couldn't get a reading on the breaker he then wanted me to plug in my RV. Politely told him I would plug in my EMS, but not RV on a plug that had already shown a problem. Apparently that really made him mad because he told me that if I didn't plug in my RV he'd refund my money and I could leave. We were in a bind and needed a site because of commitments, so I asked about another site. He pointed to a small site across the street, and told me I could take it or leave it, despite several other larger sites nearby. We did get into the site, with the front at the edge of the street, but at least the EMS showed good power. Several neighbors who had heard the man came up to us after he left and all said they couldn't believe how rude and arrogant the man was. Will never stay here again, and would advise anyone else to find another park. We camped at Atlanta Marietta Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Stone Mountain Heights Mobile Home Park, Stone Mountain, Georgia

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

The folks at Stone Mtn Heights were great!!!!! My wife and I were in dire need a park close to Emory Hospital. The park is only 12 miles from the hospital, and most days it was a 20 min. trip from the park to the parking deck. Park personnel were helpful, and assisted us in any way they could. The park itself is clean and quiet. The sites are very large. Great WIFI. We camped at Stone Mountain Heights Mobile Home Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

If you're going east on 78 there is no left turn into the park. Go to the Lowes store on the left and turn around to come back.
