Small Towne RV Park, Terry, Montana

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

It is an old trailer park turned RV park. There are no trailers currently at this site. It is a laid back type park. The owner welcomed us with an outdoor mat, 1/2 dz eggs and a binder of information about the area & a couple of coupons. The campground has full hookups, including 50 amp. We drove north of town to Scenic View, which overlooks the Badlands. It is a beautiful view. The Calypso Trail is west of town. We had already seen it, but it is best to go with a rugged type vehicle and some guidance from someone local. We camped at Small Towne RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Billings KOA, Billings, Montana

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $62.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here 3 nights. The campground was clean and well manacured. The laundry facility was clean and the restrooms were immaculate. Since it was before Memorial Day weekend, the pool and hot tub were not available. The mini golf was open. We appreciated the dog park and the trails to walk our dog. We camped at Billings KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Alexandria Shooting Park and RV Campground, Alexandria, Minnesota

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This park is also a trap shooting park. It is about 1/4 mile from I-94, making it convenient traveling through Minnesota. We called ahead & were told no reservations needed. They have over 140 hook-ups with water and electric. There is no sewer but the dump station is located by the exit. It was quiet and though one could here traffic on the interstate it was not loud or annoying. The park is located about 5 - 10 minutes from town. It is a great place for one to two nights. It has a friendly, laid back atmosphere. There were not many campers when we were there, but if it was full, we could not have our awnings extend on our slides. The sites are definitely close for big rigs. We camped at Alexandria Shooting Park and RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
