Thunderbird RV Park, Campbell River, British Columbia

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

The sites in this park are quite close together with not a lot of privacy but the location is terrific. Across the street from Discovery Pass where we saw cruise ships, and lots of eagles plus very close to town and all amenities. This is probably one of the cleanest parks around and we even saw staff washing the dumpsters inside and out. Never seen that before. We camped at Thunderbird RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Stevie's Campground, Carnduff, Saskatchewan

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great little campground for an overnight stay. Clean, quiet and well maintained. Yes you have to register at the Esso station on Railway St. first but it is on the way to the campsite so not an inconvenience. This is a small town so very easy to find. We camped at Stevie's Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Renfrew / Ottawa West KOA, Renfrew, Ontario

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This is a beautiful, lake front campsite with large, full service sites. We wish we could have stayed more than one night.

Highly recommend this KOA. It is one of the best. We camped at Renfrew / Ottawa West KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Gros Morne / Norris Point KOA, Rocky Harbour, Newfoundland

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

I would rate this campground mediocre, as it is basically a parking lot, but I also don't think there is much more to choose from. For a KOA I would say it is poor. Staff at arrival were not friendly and I felt pushed through as they seemed in a hurry and as far as amenities the surroundings did not encourage sitting outside to enjoy, as there was nothing to enjoy. We camped at Gros Morne / Norris Point KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Grand Codroy RV-tent Camping Park, Doyles, Newfoundland

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We have been travelling across Canada for over 2 months and This campground is the best we have stayed in. The sites are very large and very easy to get into and are level and private. The owners are friendly and helpful.

This place is a jewel in Newfoundland. We camped at Grand Codroy RV-tent Camping Park in a Fifth Wheel.

George's Mountain Village Cabins and Campground, Corner Brook, Newfoundland

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

When we arrived, no signs for office. Had to ask at one of the stores in front where to register. The young woman who registered me was not friendly and I had to ask for the site number. When we pulled up to the site there was a boil water advisory plus only 15 amp which if I had been told when I phoned I would have gone elsewhere. The site was almost impossible to get into as it was a back-in with an incline and very little space to maneuver. The site was also impossible to get level in. The only other review which I read is totally incorrect. Its says asphalt sites they are gravel & dirt and the traffic noise from the TCH kept us awake and our site and area was not clean. We camped at George's Mountain Village Cabins and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
