This campground is designed as a old-folks place. It is clean, appears to have lots of activities for anyone wanting to participate. It is near shopping of all kinds. It feels like a camper parking lot. Our site was difficult to get into and is very close to the next campers. Sarasota is a lovely area of Florida and I would like to spend more time in this area but would probably try another campground.

This is a very friendly campground and the manager, is terrific. The sites are extremely close together, it's basically a trashy looking campground, extremely difficult to access the highway or move in and out of the campground. We very much enjoyed the other campers and the view of the water. It is not a place I will be running back to but if in the area, I would not have a problem staying there again.

At first glance I would normally give a much lower rate because it appears as a RV parking lot with many long-term 'winter' residences. The sites are relatively level, the campground is clean, and best of all, everyone is friendly...even to my dog. The location is great for multiple baseball games and mid-stop to going further south. They provide good cable and internet service, along with various games and pool for all ages. I would camp here again.

This campground is fine for overnight stay but it looks a run-down and the sites are soft dirt. The office personnel are nice. The best aspect of this campground is all the camper sites are pull-throughs.

This is the cleanest campground with wonderful service of access to the beach. Our backing-in difficulty is solved with the help of the Rangers. This campground is great for biking for adults or children with a lot of playground equipment and areas. We had family in four of the cabins which were excellent and spotlessly clean, also. We have been here several years, and I am beginning to see wear on the concrete sites and roads.

We have voted this campground the best of all the campgrounds we have visited during the last seven years. It only has a few pull-through sites but the Parks Department people will help guide you into any site. The tram runs every hour on the hour to the beach and back but is only 7/8 of a mile to walk down to the beach; coming back is little tougher since it is a slight incline. This is a wonderful place for bikes for adults or children and bikes are available to rent $18 for all day. It is always clean, cable works great, trash bins are nearby and all the sites are concrete.

Great over-night location between Houston, TX and Florida. We've stayed here before and it maintained a clean, neat appearance, friendly, and helpful in all aspects. Plenty of pull-through site and all sites are concrete. Easy access off I-12 and the office supplies perfect location information. We'll stay here again.

Campground staff is friendly, but they do not have someone available to help with backing into a site so we requested and received a pull-through which was in a wetter section of the grounds. There had been so much rain prior to our stay and while staying, the grass was in need of attention but certainly no fault of theirs. No trash pick up, but trash containers were conventiently located. Sites are paved but rather narrow especially if the ground is saturated and you do not wish to wade in water/mud ankle deep. Nice amount shade available at sites. Convenient to various attractions.

This is an absolutely wonderful and clean campground. Great for adults and children. The staff are all cooperative and friendly. We have been here before and still find it very enjoyable.

This is an amazing campground serviced by a farm down the road. It has wonderful waterfalls and ponds with yard art. There is a horse track nearby with track participants in the campground. Owners are very friendly and helpful. It is a little crowded with lots of long-term campers. I would stay here again.

The owner is very nice and helpful. This is a good one or two nights place to stay but nothing really special about the campground. Site was close to level and all pull-throughs.

KOA offers an expected quality and this KOA did not have quality. The staff was very friendly. Granted, this is the beginning of the season but the grass was not cut, much of the facility needed a coat of paint, the sites were not level, and the entire campground had worn-down gravel. It is convenient to the shuttle service to Mackinac Island. The plus is the dog kennel nearby for trips to the island.

We rated this a 10 but it should be rated a 12. It is outstanding, beautiful, clean, friendly, and close to shopping and eateries. There is plenty of playground equipment, a fishing lake, and paddle boats, It is quiet with lots of pull-through sites. It's all around excellent. I really appreciated the other ratings since it helped me to find this wonderful campground.

We camped here to attend University of Illinois graduation ceremony and found it excellent. Clean, easy access to the University and grocery shopping. The staff is friendly and helpful. The other campers were very friendly, too. Plenty of area to walk around for exercise. Very enjoyable.

We camped in T10, and except for slight need to level, it was perfect. The park is beautiful and well maintained. Campsites large and terraced with lots of shade. We really enjoyed all the available activities.
