Park is nice, clean and still a work in progress. Sites are ample in size, fairly level, each with its own patio and picnic table for both pull thru and back in sites. Ample soft outdoor lighting at night. Many trees throughout this campground. Part of it is terraced. Done nicely. Very busy park. Fills up quickly. Reservation in advanced would be advised. Only drawback, as a full timer, is the lack of available full hookup sites. Had electric and water, but really wanted sewer, as well. Also, would help if entry road was black topped all the way up to at least the Welcome Area in front of Office. This would help hold down the dust. They're working on their 15 acre expansion now. But it's not too noisy. I'd certainly stay here again, just hopefully with the luxury of a complete 50'amp full hookup next time. We camped at Peculiar Park Place RV Park in a Motorhome.
Very close to Kansas City metropolitan area. Short travel times to I49, I35, I45 and all the other country road exchanges to get to where you want to be, and still have that quiet camping in the country experience.
