Hot Springs Campground & Hostel, Whitehorse, Yukon

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Probably the best campground we have found on our trip through, B.C. Yukon Alaska. Yes there is no water at the sites (only hot water in the ground) and no sewer. The power is good and the WiFi was better than most slow, but look where you are. Lots of treed area between your neighbor. And of course hot springs a 2 min.walk. Pinic tables and Firepits, now this is camping. We stayed three nights, would have stayed longer, if there was time. We camped at Hot Springs Campground & Hostel in a Travel Trailer.

Discovery Yukon Lodgings, Beaver Creek, Yukon

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Everyone has already explained How nice this place is. What you have to know it is 55 kms South from Beaver Creek in the middle of No where. The Hydro is from a generator which runs all the time. Other than that it has excellent artifacts to look at. We camped at Discovery Yukon Lodgings in a Travel Trailer.

Bonanza Gold Motel & RV Park, Dawson City, Yukon

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

The RV park is a parking lot at the back of the Hotel. We were here in late Aug / early Sept, so not very busy. The nasty part is that truck drivers, hitch hikers, and people who camp/sleep in their cars and vans: use the washrooms, showers and laundromat.

The place is a dirty mess. Services were the only thing that worked. Being parked behind a hotel, has its disadvantages: car alarms, horns blaring to lock and unlock.

The WiFi is slow and cannot download. We camped at Bonanza Gold Motel & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Bear River RV Park, Stewart, British Columbia

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

Seemed nice at first, then the WiFi was no existent, except for an hour in the morning, tight sites sharing a pedestal, your can hear your neighbor quite clear. The lady who was on after our check in, was a bit of a character, not in a good way. The drive to Salmon Glacier was spectacular, and lunch at the Bus in Hyder was Great. There is a nice boardwalk over the marsh, and the Salmon run at Fish Creek was worth it. We camped at Bear River RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
