Very nice clean campground. Extra friendly staff. Centrally located to many sights on the Maine coast. Quiet, level sights, family oriented. We camped at Timberland Acres RV Park in a Motorhome.

Hagerstown / Antietam Battlefield KOA, Williamsport, Maryland

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $78.00
Overall Rating:

Mgt not well organized. Made special request for two families side by side due to disability. Confirmed side by side sites one week before arrival but arrived to find sites not beside each other. Was told "that's just the way it worked out". After setup walked campground and found 8-10 sites that would have accommodated. Asked mgt to call me and so far over 24 hours and no call. Buildings could use a coat of paint. Pool workable but liner pulling away from wall. Petting zoo too close to sites--smell. We camped at Hagerstown / Antietam Battlefield KOA in a Motorhome.

Cape Hatteras KOA, Rodanthe, North Carolina

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $100.00
Overall Rating:

First time visit to this campground and I WILL BE BACK. Absolutely awesome experience. A bit pricey but well worth it. So close to the beach. Sites were a bit closer than I like but definitely worth the reduced convenience of large sites. Staff was amazing and very accommodating. We camped at Cape Hatteras KOA in a Motorhome.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort at Natural Bridge, Natural Bridge Station, Virginia

Date of Stay: March, 2016 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

Hands down this is the most disgusting park I have ever stayed. Problems ranged from kids riding golf carts around (less than 13 years old) at all hours of the day/night, public urination, loud music, very unlevel sites, drunk parents walking at all hours, etc etc etc. I'm not a prude and I believe in having a good time but when we have several men start urinating on a tree right across from me and the office ... ..that was the bottom straw. My RV was on a site that would not level without adding 5 inches of boards. It was not what I expected of a nationally recognized and franchised "kid" friendly and recruited RV park. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort at Natural Bridge in a Motorhome.
