Jennings KOA (formerly Jennings Outdoor Resort Trav-L-Park), Jennings, Florida

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park with friendly staff. The camp store was really understocked while we were there, but that is the only negative thing I have to say about this park. The sites were spaced well with full hookups at each site. There was a pool that was nice sized but the weather was a little chilly for swimming while we were there. The showers and laundry room were clean and easy to access. Sites were paved as were the roads. Easy access to I-75 North or South. I would stay here again when in the area. We stayed here in a motorhome. We camped at Jennings KOA (formerly Jennings Outdoor Resort Trav-L-Park) in a Motorhome.

Nashville I-24 Campground, Smyrna, Tennessee

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Park is easily accessible from I-75 in a quite location. Sites are relatively level, gravel packed but close together. Some full time residents but not many. Restrooms were clean and functional. Camp store was stocked well with necessities and gifts. Staff was very friendly and helpful, directing you to your site and helping you maneuver into place. Sites had full hookups, a picnic table and fire ring. Some shade was present on most sites, ours had 2 mature trees. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely return when in the area. We camped at Nashville I-24 Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Nashville, TN is only 20 miles away and there is lot to see and do. The Country Music Hall of Fame, Ryman Theater and of course Broadway St are must see. The Grand Ole Opry is also a must, however, when we were here there weren't any shows that fit into our schedule.

Leisure Time RV Park, Adairsville, Georgia

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here as an overnight stop, staff very friendly. Park is mostly permanent residents, our spot was ha hose and cable stretched to a parking spot in front of the office. There were about 3 or 4 of these spots near the office but no real "sites". This parks was OK for an overnight where you don't need facilities but I would not stay here any longer. We stayed here in a motorhome. We camped at Leisure Time RV Park in a Motorhome.

Not here long enough to discover anything interesting in the area. If you only need an overnight this place is OK, but not for any longer than that.

Green Mountain Park Resort, Lenoir, North Carolina

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

The park is nice and quaint, sits pretty far back in the woods with narrow roads into and through out the park. The back section is a gravel parking lot with little if any shade, although the staff say they are working on a landscaping contract to improve this section of the park. All the sites have a concrete pad and a wooden deck, but are really close together. The one we were parked in was in good repair but the deck was right behind the tail end of the next site, thankfully it was empty. At the time we were there a lot of the amenities were closed due to weather damage, but pool and putt-putt golf were open. This park was recently purchased by Thousand Trails so the upgrades that need to be made will be coming soon. Staff is very friendly and helpful. After speaking with them and getting details on upcoming improvements this will be a very nice park in a year or so. We would stay here again. We camped at Green Mountain Park Resort in a Motorhome.

Aviation Arbor RV Park (Military FamCamp), NAS JRB New Orleans, Louisiana

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed 2 nights, clean facilities, friendly staff. Walking distance to Commissary and NEX, base is in good shape, park is near family housing. All sites have FHU, with level concrete pads, only a few Pull through sites so call first, 20, 30, 50 amp service at each site. The only thing that we considered a negative were the mosquitoes that flocked at dusk. The city roads getting here are a little rough but we were only a few miles from the ferry into New Orleans which made it nice. We had plenty of room. Overall rating is excellent, would definitely stay here again. We camped at Aviation Arbor RV Park (Military FamCamp) in a Motorhome.

Bluebonnet Ridge RV Park, Terrell, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Nice RV park, very friendly staff, clean facilities. Mostly gravel sites but spacious. We had a pull through that was long enough for my class C with trailer and our friends car and trailer. Would definitely stay here again when in area. Services were top notch. We stayed in a motorhome. We camped at Bluebonnet Ridge RV Park in a Motorhome.

Silver Springs State Park (formerly Silver River State Park), Ocala, Florida

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

This was our first time out with our new Class C and this was a great place to test her out. The sites were spacious, with crushed stone paving. The roads inside the park were paved and in good condition. Some of the sites had sewage connections but all had electric (both 50 & 30 amp) and water. Both pull through and back ins were available. The restroom were very clean and centrally located to the 2 loop roads and offered laundry facilities and snack machines. This is a natural state park, which means that they leave the wooded areas "as mother nature left them". Firewood is available at the ranger station and they disapprove of anyone going into the wood for that. Attractions and dining facilities are conveniently located just a short distance from the park. We stay here in a class C motorhome. We camped at Silver Springs State Park (formerly Silver River State Park) in a Motorhome.
