Klamath Falls KOA, Klamath Falls, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

The interior roads are gravel and some are narrow. Easy in and out. Dieseal, unleaded on site along with propane. There is even a Electric car refueling station. The sites are mostly level, gravel and mine was long enough. One dog park had grass the other was dead grass and dirt. The staff was very friendly. We camped at Klamath Falls KOA in a Motorhome.

Whiskey Flats RV Park, Hawthorne, Nevada

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

This is a good overnight stop on 95. Like has been mentioned, the roads are gravel. But the interior roads are wide and easy to maneuver. The concrete pads are long enough. They are just very tight. The dirt area is not a dog walk. Plant a little grass for the dogs. The wifi was acceptable for a park. Digital cable tv available. Will stay here again. We camped at Whiskey Flats RV Park in a Motorhome.

Portland Fairview RV Park, Fairview, Oregon

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

Checked in for the third time for 6 days. This property is now owned by Encore/Thousand Trails. We have enjoyed our stays while in this resort. It is usually clean and the grounds are decent. We were a little frustrated this last visit. First thing is they raised their daily rate. That does have to happen. They also have a daily resort fee. I am the first person in line to stay at a resort and we do stay and own lot's in a couple of resorts. So I do have experience. There is a pool here although very small. Unfortunately, they don't keep it heated year round. So that amenity is not available. There are restrooms and laundry. We have no need for them so I cannot comment. Although, that's really not a resort amenity unless they are more luxuriously appointed then any other RV park, not just clean. The grounds are maintained. However, we got to our space with dirt, grass clippings and two heavy picnic tables were in our way. We did have to move them ourselves. The drives are so narrow your door stairs come out onto grass and clippings. No mats allowed. Not very resort like. Interested in wifi? Not here unless you want to pay for it. You do get a free hour to check it out. They do have cable and so do all RV parks. We are right next to the main road a highway. There isn't a dog park, just sort of a dog walk with no waste receptacle or bags. We still haven't figured out what the resort fee covers. Or is it a way around Portland's rent control? The site we occupied had excellent satellite reception. The pads are concrete with available parking for your tow vehicle and some grass between sites. The interior roads are paved with asphalt which is crumbling in places. We camped at Portland Fairview RV Park in a Motorhome.

Albany / Corvallis KOA, Albany, Oregon

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

I was supposed to have a pull thru. I had to back into the pull thru since the entrance had edge markers. The pad was gravel along with the interior roads. The wifi was good. The ground was still wet. There was a nice off leash dog park and dog walk. There even appeared to be a children's play area. We camped at Albany / Corvallis KOA in a Motorhome.

Another excellent stay. What can I say that hasn't been said. There is an enclosed dog park plus dog trails. Even an outside exercise trail, putt-putt course, pool and you can even have an outside fire. There is a catch and release fish pond. The site We had, satellite was excellent and cable ready. Level pad and two water sources. We camped at Bend / Sisters Garden RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Ambassador RV Resort, Caldwell, Idaho

Overall Rating:

What more can I add. This resort is excellent. The dog park and dog walk are some of the best I've seen. The sites are spacious and easy to navigate. With easy access on and off the freeway. The staff are second to none. We camped at Ambassador RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Springville/Provo KOA , Springville, Utah

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

The spaces are a little tight. But there is plenty of room to run out your slides. For an overnight stop on a trip, it's very good. The pads are concrete with interior roads being asphalt. The price is a little inflated, but all KOAs are. It did have an enclosed dog park. My satellite was able to connect, along with over the air tv and cable. We didn't use the restrooms or showers. Easy access off and on the freeway. The staff was friendly. We camped at Springville/Provo KOA in a Motorhome.

Belknap Resort & Hot Springs, Mckenzie Bridge, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

The resort raised their rates effective 1 July 2016. To bad I wasn't notified before I showed up. The hot pools are okay. The wifi at the lodge went out 2 days into our stay and was never returned to function. The site only had 30 amp service. The tree branches should be trimmed since they scrape on the roof. The facility is old and the grounds are in need of repair. They also charge $10.00 for a dog, but provide no dog run, dog waste bags. It's just a way to make money. The front staff can be a little rude. The sites are close together and some fire pits are directly behind the pad. We camped at Belknap Resort & Hot Springs in a Motorhome.

Some of the spaces are a little close. The grounds are great. The interior roads are wide. This park has an enclosed dog park and a large open area for dogs. There is also an outside exercise arena. There are pull thru, back in and pull in sites. We camped at Bend / Sisters Garden RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Big Mountain Campground, Nephi, Utah

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice park. The entrance is one lane paved road and our Class A motorhome took most of the road. The interior roads were paved and the sites gravel. Mostly level, since we were able to autolevel the coach. We parked in the trees and were unable to use our satellite. We did see portable satellites in use. There isn't any cable or over the air tv. We didn't use the restrooms or pool. There is a lot of grass and management waters regularly. The site was long enough for our coach with tow. My only complaint is the low hanging tree branches that dragged across our roof and scratched up the paint and completed some other damage. Our coach is 13' in height. We camped at Big Mountain Campground in a Motorhome.
