Lower White River RV Park, Hazen, Arkansas

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Positives: Recently built so all new infrastructure including city water & sewer with all FHU sites that include 50amp service. All driveways and sites newly asphalted and level. Spacious sites, plenty of room for 40 ft Motorhome & tow vehicle. Negatives: Still a work in progress so no office, no restrooms, no showers, no laundry, no playground or amenities. So, the price was on the high side for just hookups but everything worked great. All open, no trees, some grass in between sites. It was fine for an overnight stop. You call the manager when you enter, pick a site, and she comes later to your site to settle up. Near the interstate but park has trees on three sides and noise was minimal. I think security needs to be improved. Very dark at night, seemed like a safe area but there were only a few of us in the park and very open with no one around. We camped at Lower White River RV Park in a Motorhome.

Marion Campground & RV Park, Marion, Illinois

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Small, friendly Campground. Some trees, gravel sites, no problem for our 40 ft. Motorhome towing a vehicle. It is Spring and they've had lots of rain so some muddy areas in between sites but our gravel site was fine for putting down pads and jacks. Lady that checked us in was very friendly. Sites were a bit close to neighbors especially with slides out but was fine for two nights. All utilities worked great including the 50 amp service. We camped at Marion Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Great local place called The Vault for breakfast in downtown square that was a bank built in 1890. Only 2 miles away, great food, great service.

Laguna Vista RV Park, Marshall, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Perfect for an overnight stop. Pull thru handled 40 ft Motorhome pulling tow vehicle with no problem. All utilities worked great, including 50 amp service. All gravel sites, not perfectly level but not bad and jacks leveled us with no problem. Lady in the office was very friendly. Nothing fancy, but served our needs and was clean. We camped at Laguna Vista RV Park in a Motorhome.
