Palmetto Cove, Cleveland, South Carolina

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at Palmetto Cove RV for 3 months while my fiancé worked. The park was very well maintained and the grass and flowers were manicured on a regular basis. The view of the mountains was spectacular. There is a very nice path that leads down to a bridge that leads to a big rock on the Saluda River, if you walk a little further you can get to a cute little "beach" area that has a fire pit and a little bench to sit on. Fishing and wading in the Saluda is fun for all. There is a very nice pavilion with rocking chairs, table and chairs, fire place, grills and smokers that are available for all to use. There is a lounge area up at the pavilion also. The office has washers and dryers that handle larger loads. There is Free wifi too. The people at the park were extremely nice, welcoming and accommodating. The park is dog friendly, as long as you keep them on a leash. Love this place!!!! My fiancé, and 2 dogs can't wait to come back! Just a wonderful park all around! I do not know that daily rate, ours was monthly at $500.00. We camped at Palmetto Cove in a Motorhome.

Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort & Marina, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina

Date of Stay: February, 2017 - $56.00
Overall Rating:

When we checked in, we were given a map of the park and a golf cart to go pick out the site we wanted! How cool is that!! So we drove around and found a beautiful spot that backed up and was across the road from the water way. The site we stayed in was amazing, well taken care of and just perfect. It had a very nice tall table and chairs and a swing that over looked the water. They had garbage pick up daily, we put our trash bag at the end of our lot and it was picked up!! There was a pool, showers, laundry, gym a dog wash, a little park for kids, a marina (where you could rent jet skis and more), a restaurant, and the office staff was always available. We, however, did not use these amenities, but everything looked clean and it was too cold for the pool. Just a wonderful experience, relaxing and beautiful. The only thing we were not thrilled about was having to drop our enclosed car hauler on the road leading into the RV park, not because of safety but because it was a bit challenging dropping it and hooking it back up, we do not mind dropping our trailer at all, just thought it could have been a little more convenient. Also it was great to have the dog wash, but it would have been great to have a dog run and some doggie bag stations around the park. With that said, it was still a wonderful stay. We camped at Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort & Marina in a Motorhome.

Black Bart's RV Park, Flagstaff, Arizona

Date of Stay: November, 2016 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We stumbled upon Black Bart's RV park on our vacation. The staff were very friendly, and the site was long enough that we did not have to unhook our towed enclosed car hauler. The park had a lot of long term residents, but it was still quiet and nice. It was easy access to the interstate and was easy to get to town and back. There is a restaurant on site, Steak House and Saloon, they had a musical show at dinner time that was fun and very good, the food was fantastic! We really enjoyed our stay here and would go back again when in the area! We camped at Black Bart's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The college town had a ton of stores and events going on at the time. They are a very dog friendly town! We went to Snow Bowl Arizona and took the ski lift up to the top, there was no snow, just a nice ride up and down the mountain, lots of fun!

Boot Hill RV Resort, Alamogordo, New Mexico

Date of Stay: November, 2016 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

What a wonderful RV park, onsite owners and camp workers. Very clean, even though it is close to the road we did not find it to be noisy. Location was close to many neat places to visit. We were away from our home base for Thanksgiving and Christmas, but the people at the park made us feel at home. On Christmas eve, the owners brought around Christmas cookies, that were amazing! The camp workers went out of their way to lend a hand. Just a wonderful experience. We would stay here again if we go back to Alamogordo, NM.

We were here for work, we paid monthly, so we did not have a daily rate. The monthly rate varied because of our electric use, but was very reasonable, rent and electric ranged between $400 and $500. We have a 42' Class A, and an enclosed car hauler, we used electric for our motorcycle's (battery tenders), and our Christmas tree that we had outside, 3 AC's and I was home daily which would account for the extra electric use.

They had 2 dog parks, doggie bags available, dog friendly! We camped at Boot Hill RV Resort in a Motorhome.
