Thousand Trails - Pacific City, Cloverdale, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

No cell service. The lady at the front deck didn't seem to want to answer questions. The park itself was nice most spaces had shrubs dividing you from your neighbor. Some sites were tight the roads were narrow for big rigs. The sites are dirt, no grass. Would like to stay longer, but I need cell service for my business. We camped at Thousand Trails - Pacific City in a Motorhome.

Thousand Trails - Oceana, Ocean City, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

We enjoyed our stay at Oceana they have 2 areas. The front had some FHU the back section is over a bridge has water and electric 30 amp. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We stayed in the back it's shaped like an oval you have back-in sites on the inside of the oval which are rather small a class c or travel trailer would fit. The Road is tight trying to park your rig in the inside sites. We watched one gentleman trying to back his motor home in the center area back into his own vehicle. We saw large groups of families with small children come in. One kid was riding down the road and some how hit a pole and almost hit our neighbors new truck. Our poor neighbor had so many close calls with people almost hitting his truck trying to back their rigs in the sites across from him. The outer sites aren't very wide but do able. From the sites in the back section, you can hear the ocean. There's a path in the back of the park that takes you to the ocean. The path is narrow and there's tall grass and trees once you think you've made it to the beach and go over the hill you still have another 1000 feet to the water depending on the tide. People were catching Dungeness crab everyday. We camped at Thousand Trails - Oceana in a Motorhome.

Thousand Trails - Crescent Bar, Quincy, Washington

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

The staff have been very nice and the people we've met have been very friendly. The pool and spa are clean. The site is level and nicely spaced some are a little tight. The only problem we had is the front gate bar closed to quick and came down on our motor home, but the people were very nice and came to see if we wanted to file a claim. The views from our site is amazing, we stayed out until late at night watching the sunset and listening to the wind it was very beautiful. Would defiantly stay here again. We camped at Thousand Trails - Crescent Bar in a Motorhome.

Heartland RV Park & Cabins, Hermosa, South Dakota

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

The park is newer, all pull through sites and the grounds are nicely kept. The staff is excellent and very helpful. Our site wasn't that level so our wheels were off the ground. They advertise state of the art wifi but for the week we were there we could never connect to it. So don't count on the wifi which seems to be a common thing at rv parks. I would definitely stay again.

If you're not a Passport America, the membership is available to purchase at Heartland. It will pay for itself. We camped at Heartland RV Park & Cabins in a Motorhome.

I even hate to write a review because the place was so nice. We find it to be clean and quite. The park is small and the people are friendly. The lake is beautiful, they offer free wifi. Will definitely return. We camped at Hidden Cove Outdoor Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Go to the Clarkson covered bridge. I wish I would have know how nice this place is I would have booked a longer stay. The only reason I didn't give it a 10 is it didn't have concrete pad and paved roads.

Diamond Caverns RV Resort and Golf, Park City, Kentucky

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

We loved our site very long enough for our 39 foot coach and car. The park did have quite a few kids but it was quiet by 11pm. The park ranger was very accommodating; she gave us jacks to put under our motorhome and a step. Drove us around to help us find a spot. The pool was closed for the winter. Free wifi in the clubhouse and gym. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Diamond Caverns RV Resort and Golf in a Motorhome.

Hershey RV & Camping Resort, Lebanon, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

The park grounds are very well maintained, the grass is mowed, the sites are mainly level. The front sites are charged an extra fee even for Elite TT Members. We stayed in section H which seemed to mainly have larger motor homes. The roads inside the park in section H are asphalt paved. The other side of the lake were gravel roads and seemed to be where the families stayed. Friday night was movie night and it looked like a lot of the families enjoyed the movie. Saturday night they had a live band which drew a good crowd. We really enjoyed the park and so far it is one of our favorite TT Parks. We camped at Hershey RV & Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

The Hershey Chocolate World is not far away. Stores are within 6 miles along with restaurants. We enjoyed the hometown restaurant in Palmyra. Take a drive to Lancaster and visit the Amish country out door shops.

Outdoor World / Gettysburg Farm Campground, Dover, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

The rate was actual $0 which reflects are TT elite membership.

The place has a farm-like feel, from all the animals to some of the vegetables they grow. The grounds are well maintained. The pool is in dire need of replacing. The water was clean, but there's missing tiles and cracks everywhere. The sites are easy to get into, with plenty of 50amp sites. The power goes out about everyday, but not for long. The people working here are friendly and helpful. I would definitely return if in the area. We camped at Outdoor World / Gettysburg Farm Campground in a Motorhome.
