Robidoux RV Park, Gering, Nebraska

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed one night. A lot of room between spots. Lots of grass and concrete slabs to park your motor home on. Very close to Scottsbluff national monument. We camped at Robidoux RV Park in a Motorhome.

Fireside Resort - Jackson Hole Campground, Wilson, Wyoming

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $109.00
Overall Rating:

This park is pretty with a lot of trees. Getting in with a big rig is pretty tight but we didn't really have any problems. The site was probably the most level one we've stayed in. My one complaint, besides the place being overpriced, is that the day we got there I asked to move into the empty campsite in the row right in front of us, I even said we would move the next day since there was someone coming in the night we got there. The office person took about 10 minutes looking at his computer and then offered me 3 other sites that were $30 a night more than the $109 we were already paying. We decided not to move because the price was already very expensive. Then we sat there looking at the spot I wanted to move to sitting empty the entire time. Super irritating! FYI, the spot we wanted to move to was the same price as the one we were in??? We camped at Fireside Resort - Jackson Hole Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Definitely go to Teton Village to ride the tram and gondola. A little pricey but definitely worth it. Had lunch at The Handle Bar, very good.

Hat Creek Resort & RV, Old Station, California

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We have been traveling for 6 weeks and this is the worst place we stayed. The park layout is crazy! You can barely tell if you're in a campsite or on a road even with a campground map in your hand. I expect some dirt, we are camping after all, but the dirt here was beyond bad. They definitely need to lay down some gravel or plant some grass and define their roads better! There are power line hanging from trees held up by ropes, not too safe. On a positive note the people were friendly and did give us a refund when we left a day early. I do not recommend this place even though it's the closest to Lassen Nat'l Park. We camped at Hat Creek Resort & RV in a Motorhome.

Shadow Mountain Campground RV Park, Port Angeles, Washington

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Ok RV park, the sites are kind of short. Our 36' motorhome just fit, I don't think anything longer would fit here. Wifi is terrible, but that seems to be the case in most RV parks. No cable and satellite is sketchy, we got it but the friends we were traveling with did not. We camped at Shadow Mountain Campground RV Park in a Motorhome.

Casini Ranch Family Campground, Duncans Mills, California

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $64.00
Overall Rating:

I read reviews on this place and as far as I'm concerned they are overrated. Neighboring lots are nearby and have sunny/open exposures. Site surface is dirt and features a fire ring.

We have stayed at much nicer places with way friendlier people! We camped at Casini Ranch Family Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Definitely take the bus/sky train to downtown Vancouver to walk around and shop. If you drive, there is a lot of traffic!
