Natural Falls State Park, West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma
Date of Stay:
June, 2017 -
$25.00
Overall Rating:
This is a great state park campground. The spots are very nice with a variety of pull thru and back in. There are 30 and 50 amp hookups available and a few spots with full hookups. This is a very nice park for Oklahoma. It is well maintained and clean. The spots are mostly shaded as there are a lot of trees here. There a 5 hiking trails and a beautiful waterfall area. They are in the process of completing some yurts to stay in, so those look interesting also. This park in under 10 minutes to a small city for shopping and a casino with a great buffet! We camped at Natural Falls State Park in a Fifth Wheel.
Tight spot for our 38 foot fiver.

Elkhorn Campground, Frankfort, Kentucky
Date of Stay:
September, 2016 -
$37.00
Overall Rating:
Stayed one night. This was a nice park, easy to get to. It was busy, but not noisy and did not feel crowded. Had a pool and putt putt course, and a covered area for groups- had a small arcade there. Was a good camp for kids/families. I checked out the bathrooms and they were clean, but like many others have said- maybe the AstroTurf carpet is not a great idea - wear flip flops and you'll be fine. We camped at Elkhorn Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
Tired of cooking - eat at Gibby's downtown!

Overall Rating:
This is a nice park close to Branson and the Landing but still quiet and peaceful. The sites are a bit small but was able to park fairly easily with a 38 foot fifth wheel in a pull through. The grounds are clean and well maintained. It is an Escapees park but open to all. We camped at Turkey Creek RV Village - Escapees Rainbow Park in a Fifth Wheel.
Branson landing, Florentinos for Italian, Billy Gail's for breakfast!!

Big Springs RV Camp, Van Buren, Missouri
Date of Stay:
August, 2016 -
$30.00
Overall Rating:
This was a great spot and I wish we could have stayed longer. It's on a great spot on the river and high and dry. The owner was incredibly nice and welcoming. We had a pull through that was plenty long to stay connected with a 38 foot fiver. The drive in from the highway was fine-go in on Chicopee road off of 103-the other GPS option looked very small and residential. Had trouble with wi-fi but did not worry about it and just used our phone connections. Had full hookups , 50amp, with sewer- all worked perfect. There are a few permanent campers but most spots are open for nightly stays. Interior roads are fine and wide enough. Would stay there again if in the area! We camped at Big Springs RV Camp in a Fifth Wheel.

Singing Hills RV Park & Campground, Cave City, Kentucky
Date of Stay:
August, 2016 -
$19.00
Overall Rating:
This is very nice but simple park close to the caves in the area. The grounds were very well kept and clean. The entry and exit are very easy for big rigs. The hosts are very nice people. I had a pull through with quite a bit of slope but was able to level with the jacks. The sites were gravel. Bathrooms are a little dated but very clean. Would stay there again if in the area. Rate was SKP. We camped at Singing Hills RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
See Diamond caverns- smaller but much more interesting then the big one!
