We stayed in the overflow area (loved it) on Labor Day Weekend 2016. We were very happy with our stay. It was very quiet and spacious.
Arcade/Game room was a nice addition, not alot of games but some and could use a little TLC. Showers/bathrooms could use some updating, brightening up, and minor repair and there's only one area of them. Bar/restaurant had a huge deck with a beautiful view (deck could use a little TLC) pool (right below deck)was clean and well maintained. variety of choices on the full food menu and both food and alcoholic drinks were reasonably priced. WIFI available. Friendly fellow and seasonal campers. There was entertainment and activities for both adults and kids. Bring your own wood. No issues with water, electric, or distance from pole. Didn't get a chance to find marina/fishing area. need better signage, especially for/in overflow area (site #, site size, direction sites face) a bit confusing. Off the beaten path but close to local roads/thruway. Will definitely go back with a group, and also recommend. This is no high end campground but is perfect for the average person/group. We camped at Riverforest Park Campground in a Travel Trailer.
State Fair in Syracuse only 20 minutes away.
