Settle Inn RV Park, Pawhuska, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

This is a small park with big heart. Its best feature is being convenient and close to The Pioneer Woman's Mercantile in downtown Pawhuska. But, the park was also peaceful and nicely cared for. The host was kind, helpful and friendly. She went out of her way to be helpful with our reservations. The site layout is kind of random but we had no trouble leveling on the packed gravel, shady site. There's a small playground for kids and a laundry room as well as showers. There's a small fishing lake, but we didn't check it out. Cable TV was good. There was no wifi but Verizon signal was good for data use. We camped at Settle Inn RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The Mercantile in Pawhuska lived up to its reputation and was great fun. The bakery upstairs was terrific. There are a number of other great shops in town; we particularly liked Salt Creek Gallery and Marketplace with local and handcrafted items. The highlight was driving out to the Tallgrass Prairie Preserve and seeing the rolling plains and the buffalo herd!
