Oxbow RV Resort, Penticton, British Columbia

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Check in was pleasant, lady cordial and helpful with local info. Man directed me to site and helped me when backing in. Had to park tow vehicle in front parallel to road so not to block traffic. I have a mini for a tow so small but did observe some larger vehicles somewhat blocking roadway. Roadway is narrow and traffic is allowed both ways so could be a problem if 2 RVs met at the same time along with parked vehicles in front of sites. We had to use a cable box provided to get TV. Did not use their wifi. I would stay here again on my next visit thru BC when in this area. We camped at Oxbow RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Sintich RV & Trailer Park, Prince George, British Columbia

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Normal check in person not available, running errands, so checked in by maintenance staff. No instructions or maps given other than where pull thru located. Soft shoulder on entrance so had to stay close to opposite side and had to ask neighbor to temporarily move his tow vehicle so I could enter my site with tight turn and I only have 36 MH with tow. Park is close to highway so some noise but pull thrus are located at the back and do have some trees blocking the noise. Back ins are near the front and less tree protection so would expect more noise for those camping there. Garbage collection is available at front entrance area only, so either had to walk and carry a distance or put on top of car or in car as some did. Laundry clean and not busy. Had picnic tables, however had peeling paint which would stick to clothes if not careful where you sat. Needs to be resurfaced and repainted. We camped at Sintich RV & Trailer Park in a Motorhome.

Dave's RV Park and Campground, Vanderhoof, British Columbia

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

As noted by others there are add ons for wifi devices, cable, laundry but I only elected to get cable at @$2 more. Verizon worked well for cell service as well as wifi. With GS discount it still was a reasonable $37 plus tax CAD. Nice park but very few campers so had lots of space between units. We will stay here again. We camped at Dave's RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Cassiar RV Park, Kitwanga, British Columbia

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed overnight on trip from Alaska. I don't know about other travelers but thought the fee was higher than others even though we stayed there on the shoulder season. An additional $9 plus tax fee brought it to almost $55.00. After paying fee, lady then proceeded to tell me that the wifi was not working. So we paid $55.00 for w/s/e. The sewer connection was a ways from motorhome so be sure to bring an extension or long hose. I agree with others regarding entrance and exit of the site. Pole on entry, trees on exit. I watched 2 fifth wheelers exit and each brushed trees on both sides. I disconnected my toad from my 35 ft motorhome but still brushed both sides on egress. Trees will get fuller and larger with time making it more difficult if they don't do anything about them. I will not stay there again. We camped at Cassiar RV Park in a Motorhome.
