Camp A Way, Lincoln, Nebraska

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

We stopped here on our way home and were very impressed with the park which is almost right in town but surrounded by lots of trees and surprisingly very quiet. Family business, very well run and maintained. We camped at Camp A Way in a Motorhome.

Ireland's Ocean View RV Park, Gold Beach, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

We are new to the RV campground scene, but I would not recommend anyone staying here unless it was as a last resort, which is what happened to us. Cable was fuzzy, Wi-Fi was basically non existent. Ended up staying in our RV for showering, etc. Bathrooms unacceptable to me.

The only plus was the proximity to the beach.

Don't waste your time or money. We camped at Ireland's Ocean View RV Park in a Motorhome.

Honey Bear By the Sea RV Resort and Campground, Gold Beach, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Glen was more than accommodating. Its just off 101, very quiet, wooded, peaceful and there is a trail for beach access. There is also a German restaurant on site which is also very good. You won't regret staying here. The best place we found on the southern coast. Can't wait to go back. We camped at Honey Bear By the Sea RV Resort and Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

If available, ask for spot 15. You're tucked in a corner and can see and hear the ocean surf while sleeping under the pines. Loved it !
