Lake George RV Park, Lake George, New York

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $90.00
Overall Rating:

This was a nice park. Has all the services anyone looks for. My issues were 1) the proximity to outlets can cause jam ups getting in/out of park, good luck on a rainy day. 2) park is about 5-10 minutes to lake village/lake( could be longer depending on outlet traffic) 3) dog park was best I've seen if you have large dogs, small dog section got no turf, spray area and fit through fence. We camped at Lake George RV Park in a Motorhome.

Delaware Water Gap / Pocono Mountain KOA, East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $80.00
Overall Rating:

Ok the staff was pleasant but that was about it. Campground has massive buzzing power lines running through it. Place is outdated but appears they are trying to make upgrades. Pool small and crowded. No fishing lake. Hard to understand what we paid for. Short ride to Smithfield beach on Delaware River was a plus. We camped at Delaware Water Gap / Pocono Mountain KOA in a Motorhome.

Cape Hatteras KOA, Rodanthe, North Carolina

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

First time in Outer Banks. This location worked as it was midpoint down peninsula, about 1hr south of Kill Devil Hills. Stayed 3 nights here. Site #406 Was level and steps to beach. You can hear waves from campsite at night. No water view due to sand dunes but KOA had everything you need. We camped at Cape Hatteras KOA in a Motorhome.

Delaware Seashore State Park, Rehoboth Beach, Delaware

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Wow, this is a great spot for a couple of nights to fish, beach, or take in the area. Great sites on north end. In open area, no trees. Paved, nice views, clean restrooms. Can not say it was quiet since you are under pretty bridge but it was peaceful. We only pulled in for night but will be back. Note- did not appear they had fire rings at sites. We camped at Delaware Seashore State Park in a Motorhome.

Sea Pirate Campground, West Creek, New Jersey

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

Ok, so I heard some good things about this place but unfortunately we had a bad experience our first time here. First we pull to office to check in, it was hot day and they tell us the pool was closed for maintenance. Not even a courtesy call otherwise we would of cancelled. Our kids were disappointed upon hearing this news. Get to our pull thru site. Good thing it was after Labor Day and crowds were gone as sites are on top of each other and offer no privacy. The worst part was morning after when I decided to go take shower at 7am in restroom only to find a used condom and lube! Disgusted, but I get it people get frisky, my complaint is 8am, 9am, 10am....11am staff finally came to clean restroom which was totally unacceptable. We approach the staff who apologize but do not even offer any refund or discount. Half the campground appears to have full time residents living in trailers year round.

On a good note, the campground is close to LBI, which is only reason we may just stay here again. We camped at Sea Pirate Campground in a Motorhome.
